Alex’s bit about Alexa was incredible!
The first half of Jim’s act was about being single and never married, then Dusty comes out and says Jim was divorced and maybe remarried. I love that Dusty is so committed to not listening to other people’s comedy that he won’t listen even when he is hosting other people’s comedy!
😂😂😂
@@DustySlaymuch love my guy to to funny love the little waves you do from Minnesota
Love Dusty Slay. Great host! I’m enjoying seeing these new comics get this opportunity on your new show!
My favorite line from the opener was Dusty's line "Lets keep the show going! It's been VERY funny, ..."
Alex is one of the best! I'd love to hear him on the pod with the guys!!
I haven’t laughed out loud real hard in awhile but Alex got me there with his set
@@wendyhoch3163 ok will do thanks!
Dusty always acts like his jokes aren’t affecting the crowd when they actually are working lol 😂
Old jokes
Alex had me in tears, I was laughing so hard.
Thank you Nate and Dusty!!! Love you guys
Dusty’s opening act is hilarious 🤣 What’s wrong with the audience?! Hope you can hear me laughing from Minnesota Dusty!
I think he kind of thrives on it
You said what I came here to say
This crowed just sucked ass from mn to
Yeah they gave him beyond nothing on the first showcase ep. Unreal...
He's telling old jokes
Alex was such a fun surprise!! Hilarious!!
Jim Flannigan is one of the kings. Love that dude.
LOVE what you are doing with Nateland Entertainment!! 🤜🤛🤣🤣🤣
More Jim flannigan please!! Best comic in the showcase
Gotta say Alex was incredible, everyone was very funny. Hohoho
Justice for Dusty. That opening bit had me rolling.
Also, “Drake-braham Lincoln” .. LOL too accurate
Jim Flannigan is hilarious!
The last guy was great! :)
Watching Dusty without the sound on is like watching a third base coach giving signals.
Stop. Fidgeting.
I’d freak out at live show.
I love Dusty's Q-Tip bit.
Looking up Alex right now! He’s fabulous!
Thanks for making my Wednesdays awesome! Much love ❤️
Dusty always killin it! Alex hilarious! Love it guys✨💕
Hey bear! I just discovered Alex and was listening to him when I saw Nate featured him. Good choice
Thanks!
@@AlexVellutoComedyfrom my end you went from lonely to bugging your wife in record time
Super excited to see my favorites in the comedy world colliding. Love your comedy, Alex!
As someone who cleans his ears daily, I am here for this Dusty! 🙋♂
Ditto!
Love all of this! Dusty You're a great host!!! I agree- I hope you can hear us all laughing from all the way out here.
Jim flannigan killing it, as usual🔥
Alex Velluto is my favorite. I know him from Dry Bar. He's hilarious
Dusty calling out the audience was brutal lol
Man these are great
Jim Flannigan is the best!!!
Dusty is now one of my all time faves! He's hysterical!!!! 4:14
The Q-tips. 😂😂 That’s ME
Dusty saved that trainwreck imo
Go Alex 🎉
Wow! The Flannigan set was great! Had me rolling!!!!!
Jim Flannigan - hilarious!! 😂
Dying. Dusty said he'd been married. 😂😂 16:24
Dusty did slay on this one!
So sick to see Rio Ferdinand breaking into the creative space after such a rock star career with Manchester United 😂
Dang Renard he got you with this one haha
Me crossing my fingers that there’s at least ONE comic in the showcase who’s a POC 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾😅😅
damn what a lineup
Love that Nate is providing exposure to “lesser” comics but some of it is hard to watch. Except dusty! Love our dusty!
All of these comics deserve our attention and respect! It takes a lot of guts to get up on stage. So much hard work goes into their sets.
Have you been in the comedy arena? If so, these are your brothers & sisters. Give 'em a virtual hug.
I’m pretty new to the standup world so what do I know… but sure seems like Velutto could make it big, he was hilarious!
Just a suggestion from a fellow marketing guy, you might consider swapping out the thumbnails with something that says the episode number "Episode 2" more prominently, because when this video shows up in my feed, it looks like episode one, so I thought I already watched it. Just a suggestion! Love the show!
Now we're cookin'.
Tim McGraw cologne maker .. this is gold!!! This humor ( by all the comics) was wasted on this audience . Tough crowd
Unpopular opinion here- Dusty's hosting is the best part of these episodes, absolutely no disrespect to the other comics intended. I'm just saying I've re-watched episodes 1 and 2 a few times but I skipped to Dusty's parts. It's apparent that this crowd is very tight for everyone on the stage, but Dusty addresses it head on and I think actually succeeds in loosening them up a bit.
Wow go jackets!
Dear Nate & crew: at the risk of you thinking I live in my "dumb world" (a pluck from your hilarious Starbucks artisanal coffee bit) how about future 🔮 showcases highlighting up-and-coming comics from a selected city in the hinterlands? Seasoned Kevin Haas, Jen Durbent and Marcos Lara -- all hailing from mighty Rockford, IL -- would hold their own. (I'm not their agent.)
Would add a super favor flair to your showcases, Nate.
Respectfully, Linda
You need mason james to come on one of these.
I _love_ Dusty Slay, I really do. But I don’t understand the choice of making him your MC. It just doesn’t match his energy, and he probably beats himself up about it. The first comic you had on the last show (Mandal) should be the MC and you should have Dusty close. Or whatever, what do I know? Still though, love Dusty!
Actually I dunno I’m coming around to Dusty hosting, he did great by the end and he made me laugh a bunch
I don’t beat myself up about it. We’re having a good time
@@DustySlay really? Well I trust your own word on it then Dusty. Regardless of what the audience is doing, my husband and I have to rewind your bits over and over bc we keep laughing so loud we miss parts. The thing you said about your dad’s 4th marriage absolutely _killed_ in my living room. We love you, we live in Knoxville and hope to come see y’all in Nash sometime soon and support you guys.
And again, I’m an artist, not a comic, so I don’t know WTF I’m talking about. I can appreciate the juxtaposition of contrasting the traditional MC role with someone of your temperament, and I think you’re talented enough to figure it out. I just don’t want it to burn you out bc you’re so good and I enjoy your work, and people can be dicks when artists are in growth phases. But, as long as we’re having a good time- I’m excited to watch you make this thing your own. 🩵
@@rainbomgare you suggesting that I should be beating myself up about it? To me it’s like this, live comedy is king. Sometimes I’ll do 6 shows in a weekend and I’ll have some that are better than others but they are all fun in their own way. When you film comedy you run the risk of getting an audience that isn’t exactly connecting with what you are doing. It’s not their fault and not really my fault, it just happens. I had a lot of fun taping this. I like when the show gets weird. I appreciate you appreciating it!
Came to this because Matt Drufke said I should check out Jim Flannigan. After watching Jim’s set, I have concluded I like Matt more. Still, Jim was acceptable.
When you start off with the 'magic' of ear cleaning, you know you're in for a LONG show. Ouch.
It was uncomfortable watching Renard. I can't imagine how difficult it is to be bombing and keep going. Kudos to him.
Tbh, I clicked on the vid because I thought Dusty Slay would be a drag queen.
Why is Dusty constantly touching every piece of his clothing and switching his hands that he's holding the microphone. It's so distracting I don't even know what he said
Dusty has GOT to stop figgeting! Very distracting. To survive watching it is to turn it into a drinking game. Everytime dusty touches his glasses you have to drink. Touches his buttons on his shirt, drink waves his right hand, drink. Dusty we would end up in black out stage in this drinking game.
I don't care for this Dusty Slay, he isn't funny.
Is there another Dusty Slay you like better?
@@DustySlay I doubt there's another guy named Dusty Slay.
@@djparsons7363 I bet you're right, but you said "this dusty slay" so was just checking
Even if the ear wax joke WAS funny, I would consider cutting it.
Ummmm was that first guy supposed to be funny? I mean dude talking about q tips was not funny AT ALL but people in the crowd were laighing….Is that his act? Acting like a terrible comedian? In that case good job bro. I stopped watching so not sure if the rest of the acts were that terrible.
Hey bear
You should just skip past that guy and give the other comics a chance.
Dusty slayer is a fuckin murderer. A goddamn kill machine!
I just wish you didn't censor the comics. The weed jokes and the cuss words are some of the funniest shit. It's sacrilegious to the ethos of comedy. But hey, serve your foolish Lord, I'm laughing all the way to enjoyment and go no fear of hell. I used to be a missionary, now I'm living the good life. Shout out to mutherfuckin Dusty Slay! We gonna get high as fuck next time I see him. And still, we won't fear hell like the rest y'all sinnin souls LoL
(edited for spelling)
Yeah the anti-cursing thing is weird to me. They are just words. I understand that they want the comedy to be more accessible for older family members and younger people, so they don't want it to be too crude, but not cursing at all is like living in a false reality that almost nobody else lives in. It feels fake and forced.
I’m a satanist, so it’s not that- but I just want to add that oftentimes creative constraints improve the work. I just started the vid tho so I dunno 🤷🏼♀️
@@rainbomg I think it was Seinfeld who said that profanity and vulgarity is lazy humor and are basically cheap laughs. I don't know if that's 100% true, but I see his point.
This is a weird and sad sounding attempt at trolling.
@@Josh_Stringer I'm expressing how I feel. How is that trolling? These comics are being manipulated to change their performance. They are being fake for money, which I understand, but that doesn't make me a troll for calling it out. It's bullshit and every reasonable human values freedom. In fact, with the culture of freedom especially strong in Nashville and the general are, I'm very surprised at this authoritarian style of comedy to come of of such a freedom flag waving place.
I guess is just shows the religious and comedic hypocrisy.
That said, don't mistake me for a hater. I've always love NB and was one of the original Nateland subscribers. I love this shit, that's why I will alway pursue and promote freedom.
