Never seen anyone use a spokeshave on a lathe - that’s a first! Lovely bit of work, I must say. On an entirely subjective basis, I think it would have looked a little better with the legs slightly angled left and right which in my opinion, is bit more “MCM” However, as I said that is just my taste, and there is nothing at all wrong with your design and its execution.

@@SpioradSeoul This is actually the first time I see this type of hinges installed this way 🤩. I either saw L-shaped versions with protruding end on the front of the cabinet, or straight version (as yours) recessed into the door. Not found anything different yet on the internet, hence my curiosity 😉
