I know this is way old but I have to comment. I thought the same as you until I heard from someone who had been there... he said those orders were in place after the WTC bombings in the 90s and it was so that the stairwells would be clear for first responders. They thought it was the best course to save more lives.... hindsight is always 20/20. No one knew the towers were going to collapse.

I'm watching this in 2023 - in fact, seven years to the day my Dad passed. In 5 1/2 hours or so, he will have taken his last earthly breath. ... I didn't watch all the newsreels and videos after 9/11 way back when. I had watched it happen standing in front of the TV watching the morning news. I saw the first building on fire, then I saw the second plane fly into the second building. I was in shock.
I didn't like all the memorials year after year. It felt almost like a celebration for a day that literally changed our lives and the lives of billions of people across the world. But this past evening after watching two short films, You Tube popped 9/11 into my feed, so here I am. I've watched about four to five hours of replays of these events tonight for the first time. Interviews. First-hand stories of survivors. Watched grown men cry. Watched masses of people run screaming in terror. Watched people reflect on the tragedy and rise again.
Yes, the US rose again. We came together, in spite of differences and political opinions. In spite of losses and gains. We rebuilt a new system for pretty much anything and everything having to do with securities and communication. We regained our footing, and we can do it again.
I'm watching our country now in 2023, and I want us to come together. We have grown divided again, and I don't want us to have to experience another event like this for us to come together to rebuild our nation. Some days I think we're too far gone. But "I Know in Whom I Have Believed," that He is able to keep us and guide us. A lot of people were doing a lot of praying and God-seeking on that day and the days following.
We've lived through 9/11, economic tanks, pandemics, wars, environmental catastrophes, and internal unrest. We need to come together again. We need to rise, actually to kneel so we *can* rise. We can do it, and we will. So help us, God. Amen.

As for war hawks he did away with them too. No new wars or conflicts, brought many of our soldiers home, and brokered several Middle East peace agreements. Criticize them all you want but NO president on either side has even attempted to do that. He actually got it done. Economically he absolutely put America first. He wasn’t perfect but the median household income rose $5,000 in just three years. The reason for the Destruction for the (World Trade Center) Towers buildings was due to the fact that the (World Trade Center) building was made because it was United States foreign Commerce building. In the mid-90s software for computers were just being developed as well as there was no way to transfer money through via wire money transfer you had to do it manually by hand of write a check. There was a company in the World Trade Center building number two who develop software to send money automatically thru Wireless paper trail computer system they would try the system out for the U.S Government and the (World Trade Center) buildings and launder billions of dollars of other companies money then they would blow up the building to cover up and hide all of the information because once you destroy the main computer servers everything is gone there's no information for the investigation to be conducted. The (World Trade Center) buildings were brought down by Nano thermite military grade Nano thermite which eats through Steel in iron as well as disintegrating concrete turning it into literally dust evaporating concrete Into Thin Air this is the reason why there was little to no debris left at the site of the World Trade Center the next day on September 12th 2001 , as well as another Untold fact that ex President ("George HW Bush") took out $240, Billion dollars in U.S.A. Surplus War bonds for ["Operation Desert Storm"] 10 , year War bonds collection and authenticity of ownership for the War bonds was set for (September 12th 2001) the company was [Euro brokers] located in (World Trade Center) building number two. Needless to say all of the individuals who were employed with these companies who died under suspicious circumstances on (September 11th 2001) they either Knew Too Much about what was going on in these companies or they did not know enough about who they were working with and what was going on behind closed doors and that was the reason for their deaths and the destruction of the (World Trade Center) complex not just two buildings the whole complex was levelled on (September 11th 2001) buy military grade Nano thermite the planes were inserted buy video ography ["ITT Tech"] used video ("CGI")
