Do all these come in a box? I paid $2000 for my Serta queen mattress around 17yrs ago and it's still very very comfortable. Do you think this will hold up for 17yrs? I feel it will not just due to the fact that it can fit in a box. Because there is no possible way that my current mattress would ever fit in a box. Only, reason I say this is because springs loose compression over time by being pressed down. If those spring are compressed in a box for example, they are constantly losing compression and becoming weaker.
Springs are fine under compression for extended periods. That's their whole purpose. A spring would lose its effectiveness if you stretched back towards a straight wire.
