Had a similar experience to your maths one in my first year - My uni did 2 different biology papers in year 1 (people doing straight biol did both, but some other sciences like Genetics just did 1). Anyway i ended up sitting the wrong paper and other than thinking it was harder than i expected didn't think anything of it. At the start of Year 2 my tutor called me into his room and informed me i had sat the wrong paper, but as i had passed it - just - he had no issue as he knew I would have done better on the one i had spent a whole year studying. Lesson learned double and treble check you exam locations and times. My biggest tip from Uni for budgeting is use cash, not card or apple pay.
I applied 3 months ago I feel like they’ve forgotten about me!! Especially since they have sent emails referencing emails I haven’t received and they’ve apparently had technical issues about applicants.
Another excellent video. I'm starting Uni on the 21st September. Thank you for your great tips and advice. How easy was it to make friends at Uni for you? Best of luck for your second year, you deserve it!!!
Sometimes went into town but usually just ordered online with my flatmates and it gets delivered. Apply for both on campus and in town cuz the campus ones go so quick
Kitty Peyton ahhh you can always have a job at the start and quit if it’s holding you back from uni stuff!! And ahhh good luck! Maybe see you around xx
Starting uni this year and I’m so excited!! Xx

Thank you I love youuuu🥰
nights out? I don't there will really be any this year. Any tips on meeting new people in this pandemic?
there are night out events with tables of 6! m.facebook.com/pg/alistbath/events/?ref=page_internal&mt_nav=0
As for meeting new people just spend loads of time with your flat and make friends with them. Join sports / societies and things like that!
Also if you go out to events & bars you’ll probs end up chatting to random people
@@miaalicex well I'm not going to bath but I think I'll join societies and that should help!
What course are you on? Great video! ❤️❤️
Economics! Thank youuu ❤️
Very useful advice for young people - Thank you 🙏🙏We have posted this video at our blog selfhelpchampion under ADULTING.

how did you do your grocery shopping at bath? did you go into town each week or something? also should i apply for jobs only on campus or in town too?
Sometimes went into town but usually just ordered online with my flatmates and it gets delivered. Apply for both on campus and in town cuz the campus ones go so quick
Do you recommend getting a job first year? Xx
If any year then first year yes cuz your work doesn’t count x
