Last month June 2019 I visited Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brugge, Brussels, Paris,Luxembourg,Frankfurt,Berlin and Prague in the Czech republic..and my honest opinion..Paris is so majestic, the architecture is out of this world am definitely going back.
As a Parisian (born and lived there for 20 years) I approve this list for 1st time tourists! Maybe add a few places in the Quartier latin: go to rue Mouffetard and have a mint tea and arabic pastries at the Grande Mosquee before going to the Jardin des Plantes. I would skip the Galeries Lafayette because there is so many people and spend a little more time in le Marais (from St Paul, take the rue Pavee, rue des Rosiers, rue Vieille du Temple and rue des Francs Bourgeois, until the place des Vosges. Also go to rue des Archives and maybe have lunch at the Marché des enfants rouges)
Great! (Parisian speaking) I think the Louvre truly deserves to be in the first 5. It's like the epitome of art museum, the palace being the first masterpiece, you can walk the rooms throughout the year without seeing the same piece twice ; it's an eternal amazement. Good to know it's always free for europeans under 25, and for everybody the first sunday of the month ; plus, in autumn and winter, you can even find yourself alone in some rooms. I think you shouldn't miss the delightful Palais Royal, Pigalle or the north of Montmartre to catch a glimpse of parisian life, the Quartier latin and the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève, historically the student district, still a nice place to hang out, buy books or just have a walk. For anyone planning the trip, I would really suggest, if you can, to visit France and not only Paris. There's a long-lasting vision of Paris as the only real city in the country, but France is all about well-kept secrets. It's an understatement to say that Lyon, Nantes, Bordeaux, Normandy, the Loire Valley, Provence, lots of others, are worth the trip.
sino71 Thank you! Such great advice and suggestions here. I agree with you especially about not thinking a city represents a country. We haven't done a lot of travel in other areas of France; however, on our train ride to Barcelona we couldn't help but notice so many interesting places we'd like to visit. I think one of the great things about Paris is that you could have another 50 things to do list (with entirely different suggestions) that would rival the one we created.
Great way to share how to explore the city! We went in fall and now spring and both times were wonderful weather and the lines werent bad at all. 10 days is just enough to enjoy this amazing city!
I ve been leaving near Paris for several years but I still manage To discover (or discover again and again) so many new things in that city. Samuel and Audrey it s past midnight and it was a real pleasure watching your video !
I'm watching this video now. BecAuse I'll be staying in Paris for 4 months . Starting this September . To practice my French language for work . Thx guys. And you guys visit Europe again . Hope we could meet up ;)
So, you did lock the padlock at Seoul Namisan Tower. Me too during my 2 years of stay in Seoul and Suwon, I loved been there driving in the mid of night all the way up. Now I must subscribe you channel and here I go. However, I been to Paris in March-April 2006, I didn't do it but walked that bridge. Wish to travel to Paris sooner. I did visit a small beautiful but deserted village with a fountain in the middle just outside the Palais de Versailles. Didn't knew it was made for princess Marie Antoinette. Now I recollect.
This cemetery looks exactly like the Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as mentioned in the video. Yes, both of them are majestic and beautiful, probably the two best cemeteries in the world.
I loved the video... I haven't been back in awhile.. but Paris is never a disappointment. I've been 3 times.. In my opinion.. October is the best time to go.
That was great. Did you miss Bastile Market, July Column, Carnavalet museum, saint denis besilica, concord square, sacred heart basilica, grand arc, arc triumph and arc triumph carrousel?
Just came back after a 12 day stay there... I believe you have nailed it. Although we did hit a lot of the same places. Wish I would've seen this before our trip. Bonne Nuit!
Thanks for posting this. I can't get the Crepe out of my mind it looks so delicious and I love watching things about Paris. I wish I could go but I'm a bit old so I watch it on You tube but it's great. Thanks a lot, good job!
Thank you so much for your wonderful video. I will be going to visit Paris for 5 days in July 2018. I am afraid to miss out you make it look so easy to visit Paris.
I'm planing a backpack trip through Europe and your videos are being very useful. Plus, they're really fun to watch and you two seem very nice. Keep up with the good work. Thank you so much. Hugs from Brazil.
I've been following you guys on TH-cam forever and the one time Im studying abroad I just happened to be in the same city as you guys! So weird to see the places we both visited along the way. Happy One year and hopefully I'll run into you guys one day!
Place de la Concorde, Le marais, Sainte Chapelle, Quartier Latin, Les Catacombes, La Tour Montparnasse, île de la cité, Musée du louvre, Musée Picasso, Musée de l'orangerie, Musée du quai Branly, Canal Saint Martin, les ponts..., Place des Vosges, Place Vendôme, La Défense, La Villette, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, Halles de Paris, Quartiers St Germain des Près, Les marchés, Brocante, vide grenier, les Fêtes forraines... Thank you very much for your vidéo. Maybe another day going to Paris :)
Yes this video is perfect! I'm going on a school trip to France and Switzerland and we have to plan the whole thing using the underground and bullet trains. Will definitely plan the trip around this!
Bonjour Merci Boku! Paris leaves much to be desired rusty tower of a crowd of Arabs, the poor Romanians play in the square in 3 maps Monte is a disgrace to Paris! This is not the capital of the cultural state of France! This I saw in Africa! It's a shame!
Ive recently just went to paris about a month ago and it was an amazing experience. We saw the louvre Eiffel tower, arc of triumph , nortre dame, scare church champs elysees, and much more. However we didn't get to see the catacombs. You can't go to the arc of triumph without going underground tunnel do to a huge round about. Lots if amazing foods like croissant nice restaurants and very expensive shopping on champs elysees. Before paris we went to a smaller town but I forgot what is was called an from there we saw the Versailles. Gold castle. Overall my experience was amazing I appreciated your video a lot thnx
I used this list before I headed to Paris for my first time and its awesome! I just posted a short (Top 5) Paris list for those with less time, Cheers!
Musee d'Orsay, Opera Garnier, pont alexandre III, Bois de vincennes, parc monceau, parc buttes chaumont, cite de science et l'industrie, canal st martin, place des vosges, bastille square, tour mont parnasse, la defense region, bizillions of french food.... and Disneyland, Giverny, and Mont St Michel as day trips.. (mont st michel is 4 hours coach but worth every second)... are things missed on this video :D but great video still! Been to Paris twice, easily my favourite city. incredible if you get to know the history behind every nook. Love your videos guys. keep it up :))
We went a for a few days last month. I had been there from Scotland as a student in the 70s (cycled there with my buddy and we slept one night on a bench outside Notre Dame!). Back twice later but with our own kids or with boyscouts. This time we had NO extras just us! Had a great few days in the sunshine, petits dejeuners in cafés near Montparnass. Enjoyed the Eiffel Tower and Tour Montparnass by day and night. Magical city. I might put my own TH-cam up but at present only the 2 minute 'Fast Flight to Paris' is there. Thanks for sharing! Happy travels! Next time a jambon fromage crêpe for me too! :)
Thank you for this fun exposition on Paris. I enjoyed your perspective. You are right about the summers in Paris. The crowds seem to double on June 1. However, in August, it is quite a different story, because many Parisians vacation at that time, so it is not so very crowded. With a little research, one can find some good hotel deals, and bicycle touring is much less hazardous. Paris is great to visit in May, and it is also wonderful, and quite different, to visit around Christmas and New Year's. If you are interested in French churches, you ought to visit Saint Sulpice, which has arguably the most famous pipe organ in the world -- and it can be heard every week, on Sunday mornings, for free. Oh, and add this to your list of attractions: the Palais Royale, on the Rive Droite, which is a popular garden and promenade spot with classic architecture. It was featured in the Audrey Hepburn/Cary Grant movie, "Charade." Everyone goes there to enjoy their lunches, or just a pleasant walk in the middle of the city.
This video made me so hungry...so many pastries! Anyways, I love your guys' videos! I get to learn of many new places/different cultures through your channel! Thanks for the hard work you put into your videos!
+Samuel & Audrey Yes, although I went there quite a while ago in the middle of winter, I still remember that I loved it there. Definitely want to go back to Paris soon, preferably in the summer to see the things I didn´t have enough time to see last time.
liebe maria, du hast das privileg der späten geburt. dummheit - äh unerfahrenheit wird dich hoffentlich nicht in die bedrouille steuern. werd erwachsen und alles wird gut. bless ye ;)
not to destroy your happiness, google Maria and Kandel, remember now we live in a eu dominated by some former stasi officer Merkel and the brave german ppl can`t get rid of her.
Nicely done, good job. How cute that this was your first Éclair. Éclairs are made out of pâte à choux pastry. I love Paris and the food and wine are divine in France. It is not a must do, but if you are foodie, do make dinner reservations at the restaurant at Eiffel Tower months ahead of time and do try the dinner cruise with the Bateaux cruises.
Thank you~ This video is a huge help planning for my trip. Though I stopped learning french for sometime your pronunciation sounds very nice~ Hopefully I'll enjoy Paris as much as my expectations~
Wow! how long can i go around with these sites? I was thinking of clustering Arrondissement municipal accordingly which ever is near.. i saw it on google map. i review much video but yours is greatly compact and precise on what to do in Paris. hopefully i can fit it on my 3 day tour.. thanks! 😃
I am planning to go to France and I will love to visit some of these sites. Thanks for for the lists and I would like to know if it is easier to travel by bus or train
Samuel & Audrey My two top attractions in Paris are definitely the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. But I like the quarter La Défense with skyscrapers and modern buildings very much. This quarter I can recommend to everyone. Samuel & Audrey, have beautiful and safe trips!
Definetly go to Europe's biggest business city, La Défense with la Grande Arche de la Défense, a modern interpretation of the Arc de triomphe. With a height of over 100m it is definetly worth getting on top of it (yes!). The view is stunningly amazing! Once you're up there you'll get to notice that the arc de triomphe and la Grande Arche are sitting in one line, extending the "Axe historique". Even if La Défense is located outside of the city of Paris, you can easily get there by metro and you'll pay as much as for a normal ride within the city borders: 1,90€ (2019)
Ballie Bunny Thank you! We're actually going to be spending most of the year in Europe. We'll be in Spain (Madrid/Barcelona) for a while and then we'll be visiting Amsterdam and Warsaw.
One other tip...start walking several months before your trip. I joined two different hiking clubs on Meetup. Get your legs in shape so you can walk all day in Paris.

Effie which other part of Europe are you going to ?
Great video! Thanks a lot! I have been there two months ago and I can remind me many beautiful places in Paris. You do great videos for us.Thanks! :)
Adriana Ferechova Thank you! Did you visit anywhere in Paris that we didn't cover and would recommend to others?
Samuel & Audrey My two top attractions in Paris are definitely the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. But I like the quarter La Défense with skyscrapers and modern buildings very much. This quarter I can recommend to everyone.
Samuel & Audrey, have beautiful and safe trips!
Adriana Ferechova That's really cool! We didn't make it to that area. We'll definitely do that the next time we're in Paris.
hey guys!I just found your videos!Keep that work going and your smiles!!Thanks for the advice for Paris!
+ppkproduct Thank you! I hope you have a great time in Paris.
Great to hear what you explored in Paris
Thank you!
Thanks for the information.
Good video! just made a Barcelona walking tour vlog and saw yours in the suggestions!😉☺️

What next for you guys? Some beautiful excotic places in Africa? :D
Great tip Mark!
