It would be really hard to unify those two countries together. They are heading toward different cultures. Even if they did, many people would die for that. North Korea has the military power to control the south in several months if the states did not involve. Some South Korean disrespect or look down among North Korean. If north controlled the south, many people would die for the war. If the south unified the north, most North Korean would have a hard time to live because they are not used to the competitive environment.

I hope North and South Korea will play the same and in unision as all of the different musical instruments playing together united as one musical rendention all together as one - “ONE KOREAN PENINSULA” once more united forever. I am a Filipino but I love one Korea Nd all its music from all over the Korean Peninsula. Stick together for peace, not war to unite.
Believe me the real problem is not Kim Dynasty, it is United States' and China's conflicting interests in the region. Japan and Russia are also another concern. If Korea become united and become an American base it is really bad news for China. Russia has similar motives with China.They wouldn't allow that. If Korea unifies and decides to kick the Americans in the Korean Peninsula, it is bad news for United States, they wouldn't allow that. On the other hand, if two Korea unifies they will become a huge regional power. South Korea, which is only the half of the Korean Peninsula is already a huge economic power. Now consider, this with the all possible development opportunities in Northern side. They will beat Japan in every possible aspect. And also another concern for regional powers is the nuclear missiles of North Korea. If two Korea becomes united they would have 75 million population lots of natural resources and nuclear missiles.They can become an independent and self sufficient country like Yugoslavia. Yugoslovia's strength also came from the unification idea. Under this circumstances neither United States nor China would allow such unification.
In addition to that Kim Jong Un is not like his grandfather and father. He is opening up his country and allows some free enterprises. He is also not as authoritarian as his father and grandfather. Tourists and journalists have less restrictions than before. I also don't believe that unification happens in Kim Jong Un era but he is creating the way for unification and if other problems are solved his successor manages to unify two Koreas. I also believe that his successor will not be his son. I don't know whether he wants to quit throne system or not but even if he wanted to leave his throne he wouldn't be able to do it because of his own political reforms. But this is not the concern right now, he has at least 40 years of remaining lifetime and during his reign he will integrate his country in to the modern world.

Arirang, my known adjectives are not enough to express my gratitude for this, from another world, spectacular show, from the land of "LOVE, PEACE, PROSPERITY". From BRAZIL the purest love, affection, and respect for a country that is an example for the world. PS. With respect, I never see in my entire life so many beautiful young ladies together. My God!!! Nice choice for the end song. We are looking forward the reunification in Korean Peninsula
Believe me the real problem is not Kim Dynasty, it is United States' and China's conflicting interests in the region. Japan and Russia are also another concern. If Korea become united and become an American base it is really bad news for China. Russia has similar motives with China.They wouldn't allow that. If Korea unifies and decides to kick the Americans in the Korean Peninsula, it is bad news for United States, they wouldn't allow that. On the other hand, if two Korea unifies they will become a huge regional power. South Korea, which is only the half of the Korean Peninsula is already a huge economic power. Now consider, this with the all possible development opportunities in Northern side. They will beat Japan in every possible aspect. And also another concern for regional powers is the nuclear missiles of North Korea. If two Korea becomes united they would have 75 million population lots of natural resources and nuclear missiles.They can become an independent and self sufficient country like Yugoslavia. Yugoslovia's strength also came from the unification idea. Under this circumstances neither United States nor China would allow such unification.
In addition to that Kim Jong Un is not like his grandfather and father. He is opening up his country and allows some free enterprises. He is also not as authoritarian as his father and grandfather. Tourists and journalists have less restrictions than before. I also don't believe that unification happens in Kim Jong Un era but he is creating the way for unification and if other problems are solved his successor manages to unify two Koreas. I also believe that his successor will not be his son. I don't know whether he wants to quit throne system or not but even if he wanted to leave his throne he wouldn't be able to do it because of his own political reforms. But this is not the concern right now, he has at least 40 years of remaining lifetime and during his reign he will integrate his country in to the modern world.

From BRAZIL the purest love, affection, and respect for a country that is an example for the world. PS. With respect, I never see in my entire life so many beautiful young ladies together. My God!!!
