Triple Kill
It’s basically the same playstyle as Tank Jungle Benedetta, except that he can actually dish out decent dmg even with def items all due to his passive where it increases ALL types of dmg so meaning he can still hurtalot bcs of the high base dmg when he stacks up his passive, this would also mean it increases the dmg of *Cursed Helmet* aura _(not upgrading_ *_molten essence_* _right away for tank junglers is just not practical.. as they lose out on the increased dmg, hp buff and magic res of cursed helmet)_ to have faster jungle and minion clear while also dealing decent dmg to the squishy backlines. This is just an added bonus as Tankcelot can also splitpushalot when the teamfight is on the other side of the map.
And wow. As seen from the match result for elgin, Tankcelot, won’t workalot in soloq xD

One of the fun things about mb is the freedom to experiment with character builds. An old build I used a lot was a high burst ambush build for son Wukong but the recent Nerf he received made him weak. Always try to experiment with builds because one day you might create an unexpected build that is more efficient and resolves around your playstyle.
i think tankcelot became a thing because of how tankcelot can easily secure objectives using his 2nd skill and ult. when lance is using the normal burst build its hard for him to position around the lord area and it also makes it difficult for lance to win the lord dance against other tank junglers like fredrinn
Yup, and his passive also increases his dmg in all forms of dmg (including cursed helm). He also has his second and ultimate to help negate some big dmg on him (as shown on 7:38).

the emergence of tank/sustain junglers somewhat make d assasins pale since enemy junglers cant be burst down even after their usual skill combo leaving them vulnerable afterwards.. same in securing objectives.. so tankcelot may be a good way to match em.. but damage from secondary carries(mage/mm) is a must..
yea i once encountered enemy lancelot with this, jungle emblem, sky guardian cursed helmet.
he literally dominates, almost not dying. but by the late game came. they lost. i think they fell behind with damage
I tried tank lance and it's actually pretty great. Although I think it's best to go with this build if your team already have a good source of dmg because from what I have learnt is that this build is made so that lance can sustain in teamfights and contest the objective better.I am no pro or anything with lance. I just main him as an assassin so ya :).

Tried it, works wonders for me. It allows us to stay alive on the long turtle or lord dances while securing the objectives. Plus the ability to dodge and take damage can waste your enemy's skills. Pretty annoying if the enemy gets the tankcelot too. I also tried the offlane strat with unbending will emblem :))

Your team generally have to be good if you're playing tank junglers. Coz no matter you much damage you think ur dealing, it's not enough to carry
I had to play Tankcelot in Rank because we had no tank and zilong at exp. It is a viable pick if you have others who can do enough damage.
Its all about the bloody retribution the higher the hp you have the higher the damage enemy takes

Tank-sion can even be possible because of his multiple hits 2nd skill, escape 3rd skill and a passive based on the missing hp of the enemy. Although he might not be as effective as Tank-celot, it's worth trying.
I dont know if im the only one that noticed this but elgin actually used assassin emblem not jungle because at 1:20 you can see that there's a high and dry mark on the enemy so elgin is using an assasin emblem i don't how i noticed it and its not really that important but its just really random that i noticed it😆
Anyways,i think tankcelot is a pretty solid strat for lancelot and it also makes him viability in more line up and not just the pick off and early game line up

tip: don't build cursed helmet right away after you build guardian helmet it will save you more money and help focus on other items you needed :))
From epic to almost Mythic last season, that time I only used TANKCELOT and manage to have over 70% wr. That was just in 3 days before end season.
I think kazuki explained the point why tanks are viable option for jungling, it’s because the jg damage increases when max hp is higher. I guess the concept why junglers applying tank emblem and equipment for jugglers is for that sole reason while soaking up damage from enemies and even surviving a lethal blow

I've been using tankcelot for a long time without even watching any pro players do it. I discovered in a match where enemy has burst dmg heroes karina, eudora and yin so i made war axe, thunder belt, athena, endless battle, antique quirass and boots.

It was chaknu who first uses tank lance. Not just rg game but a tournament of pro players.
Now I wait for burst damage Fredrinn and Akai. With this build: Random boots depending on situation, Hunter strike, Bloodlust axe, Blade of Despair, Malefic Roar, Immortality.

I tried tank Lancelot before it was a thing, because enemies were offensive. It felt like Karina's tank with dash and physical damage instead. But don't expect it to be a short battle when you use tank build

They need to make it to where he does no damage if he has no attack items makes it mad unfair dudes dishing out insane damage with full def items

No damage late game, tank karrie and karina can be a thing because of the pure dmg from passive. Trust me, i play public game few time with this kinda joki build, if they don't end early(which is VERY COMMON IN PUBLIC GAME) you going to pay the price VERY HARD at late game.
Like many experiments like Tank Granger, this is less effective on SoloQ
This can only be effective if the team has sufficient damage and know what they are doing to make Tankcelot practical
So in conclusion
Tankcelot in 5man > Tankcelot in SoloQ
You guys shouldn't do this kind of meta, like making a hero popular by doing some thing that doesn't suit their role, because Moonton doesn't like that, do you not want Lancelot to be adjusted again right?
Lance tank is good... But you still need one hero who can kill enemy.. Lance tank gameplay kinda like Claude where his damage is great.. But can't really secure kill..
Currently Spamming tankcelot in rank whenever the line up is applicable where my team has a high damage output.. it's pretty effective
So that's why we were getting stomped by Guardian helmet Lance......
