How to reach there:
Kalinchok is about 150 KM from Kathmandu.
- From Kathmandu you can go by bus or by car upto Kuri Village. Or you can go to Charikot from Kathmandu and stay in Charikot and in the next day you can hire Jeep and go to Kalinchok.
- You can reach there in about 7 to 8 hours and stay in the Kuri Village
- Tomorrow morning, you can go by cable car uphill to the temple or you can hike for around 1 hour to reach at the top of the temple.
- After having breakfast you can return back to Kathmandu.
One night two days is perfect plan for Kalinchok.
Best time to visit
The best time to visit Kalinchok is in the month of winter: December, January and February. However, you can visit all over the year because of its majestic natural settlement.
