I am so looking forward to finally retiring and such a great space. I love the Catamaran and I am traveling through the BVI for 18 days and it was the best trip I ever had
Great presentation, Norwegians can not only sail the atlantic well, but look after their boat too, super tidy! Others should take note. Great PDF of the boat too.
Thank you very much Wiley. Your videos are always very informative. Hopefully I'll find my dream boat someday. Please be careful, you know it's not very safe out there now.
Fantastic cat fully loaded, upgraded and apparently ready to go. Now is not the time to buy a project boat at least on this level. Owner's cabin Leo 46's are rare. I only wonder if that mooring on Lake Sylvia is also available? Can't imagine that would be cheap esp rn. Have read the anchorage there is insanely crowded on weekends. Also, what's the condition of the standing rigging after 13 years? No cross ventilation in the saloon? Seems like miss by R&C. But yeah, just run the AC with all that solar. Noticed there's no interior stairs to the helm. Be safe everyone and great presentation Wiley.
Pointing with the finger feels a little weird, I imagine it’s even weirder for you to do it- but, it is very effective. I usually know what you’re talking about but it’s not always obvious and I expect the finger will help people with less boat familiarity a lot. This boat is nice, I realized the louvres on the front windows don’t really bother me like I expected. Alas, I’m still a year and a half away from being able to buy.
I am also in the same boat. Love the boat and the vids. I am fixing to be 56 looking to live the life after I retire. Much too much $$ for a 13 yr old boat. It is nice though. The thing I would also comment about would be the condition of the rigging and the sails? I am not a sailor. I would have to learn. But I would think this is an additional expense? I am always on the lookout. Looking for something nice. Well I was until corona eroding my 401K.
...don't know if you noticed - but there is some kind of gunk on the camera lens - high center - about 1/4 of the way down from the top - a dark spot / smudge or something... Just fyi... Love the boat!
Hi Patrick you would be correct on the price it's the highest price leopard 46 on the market. You could buy 42 Lagoon or leopard two three years old for that price. Not 13 years old they're dreaming
Ya, there asking a premium price for their owner's version (ideal floor plan for cruising or live aboard.) You can find them cheaper out of the country.
Wiley I know you've spent a good amount of time sailing these boats. My question is do they pound in a large sea? I think the older 47s have that problem. Thanks
Play b4work Every sale is like a reverse auction. They start the boat close to what’s fair and it comes down in price over time until someone buys it. There is no way to get a fair price cause boats just cost more than they are worth (and seemingly always will due to the harsh environment of salt water) and until you find a buyer you can’t know what the real price is. If it’s too high for you, wait three months. If someone else values it more, they will have bought it.
She is nice... interest layout wife pointed to no access to helm from cockpit... Yah, really nice boat and we will be buying on the other side of this mess if we are able to.

Excellent video- I have just expanded my Catamaran options. Thanks
14 years old at this point and still a stunning yacht, talk about a dream...
Thanks Wiley, your videos are always mini vacation for me..
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Always awesome videos wiley. You are the king of pano's! Looks well maintained for her age. Will be interesting to see what this goes for.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch. She's a great boat, and the Leopard 46 is one of the best cruising catamarans of all time.
@@catamarancentral your videos are great wiley. I will definitely be using you when I get my cat!

Very nice boat! I see they have the TP stocked for all contingencies.
She's a very nice boat, and very well equipped.
Love the boat. Great time.

Shes in fantastic shape for her age ,nice
I was very impressed with her overall condition.

Be patient market will be at all time highs Q1 of 2021 at the very latest
good to see a fellow '56er' looking to set sail... I'm in the same boat :) (pun intended)

I didn't realize it until after I got off and looked at the video... Sorry for that :(
A real rare find of a boat in such good condition, but a bit pricy considering her age.
I think she's priced right based on the comps for Leopard 46's. It'll be interesting to see what she goes for.
@@catamarancentral Hi Wiley, in consideration of comps, any chance of you posting the Q1 Catamaran sales for 2020? Thanks for all you do!
It sold for %91 of Asking-- $400k after 95 days on the market.
great tour
Thanks for taking the time watch!
How much is this boat!????
I want this boat!
She's closing today ;)
@@catamarancentral Are you allowed to give us the final sale price?
That’s why you negotiate. Wiley is usually right on the nose with pricing.
Thanks Jamie.
I love your videos I’m just a dreamer but hopefully one day will do business
Thanks for watching and dreaming with me!
Great boat what price did it close at?
Hi. Which cam are you using? It focused very well
She's beautiful and very well maintained, but the price seems pretty high for a 2007 no?
Patrick Leclerc don’t worry in about a month owners will pay you to take their boats just to avoid fees.
Hi Patrick you would be correct on the price it's the highest price leopard 46 on the market. You could buy 42 Lagoon or leopard two three years old for that price. Not 13 years old they're dreaming
It's because it's a 3 cabin owners version...try finding one...
Ya, there asking a premium price for their owner's version (ideal floor plan for cruising or live aboard.) You can find them cheaper out of the country.
That is a well equipped and good looking boat... No doubt... If it only had an icemaker... 😉☺
Lol. Could very easily add one ;)
Did this boat sell?
What was MSRP in 2008?
I have no idea.
Link is not working.
I just fixed it. I'm so sorry for the issue.
Thanks, Mr. Wiley, she's quite nice.
Hey Wiley, thanks for the video. Could you please expand on what ‘Not for sale to US residents while in US waters’ means?
Thanks for answering.
What’s the ownership history?
She is still owned by her original owners who have sailed her 6 months a year since new. Email and I'd love to discuss. Wiley@denisonyachting.com
Wiley I know you've spent a good amount of time sailing these boats. My question is do they pound in a large sea? I think the older 47s have that problem. Thanks
Wiley - " Give a quick PANO, it's very light and breezy" repeat.... jk lol love your vids
Thats the format ;)
Why do the owners want to sell?
They have had their fun, and time to go back to work.
Bad link
I'm sorry. The link should be working now.
How much are they asking for her?
$479,000 US
$479K.
@@catamarancentral 479k I'm no expert but that seems kinda high to me. I mean, she is 13 years old.

would the owner consider trading for 1000 shares of apple?
Shoot me an email, and lets see what we can put together. Wiley@denisonyachting.com
thats only 240,000 today (04/03/20) after the crash, buddy

Norwegian owners... No wonder the boat looks so great. We Norwegians like looking after our stuff :)
She is nice... interest layout wife pointed to no access to helm from cockpit...
Yah, really nice boat and we will be buying on the other side of this mess if we are able to.
There was a design change made in 2008 to the Leopard 46's that gave them internal helm access.
Love the layout except for having to walk around the perimeter of the boat to get from helm to companion way, seems less safe and certainly a pain.
Thats why Leopard went to the forward cockpit and door.
Exactly the type of boat I would want, exactly $129k too much for my budget at this point. this one is set up nicely.
The reason for the price is at 9:30
LOL!
dreamboat - get me one on 2023
She a very nice boat but about 125k overpriced for her age
Agreed. For that price you can get into a much newer boat.
@@jebbutcher3301 maybe 250k -280k
I disagree. If you look at the comparable sales for Leopard 46 Owner's Versions she's priced right in line. The sellers are open to offers.
Everyone has an opinion 🙂
Yep - as someone pointed out - let the market determine the price. All good 😁
There is nothing like a lagoon 450 or 46
very tempting , same price as a seawind 1260 new and 6 extra feet in length with nice wood work .
The Leopard 46 is one of the best cats ever designed.
13 years old, 479,000$ hahaha
The sellers are open to offers.
On the high end, this cat should be priced $275-285. Right now, way to high..
Norsk flagg på båten jo...
