Random fun fact about Canterbury. If you go to 3:45 you'll see the sign for 'Tiny Tim's Tearoom' is misspelled and says 'Tiny Tim's Tearooom'. Took me 25 years to notice
Great video Jack. I used to spend a fair amount of time in Canterbury back in the 80's (yeah I'm an old fart) when my girlfriend's dad was the landlord of the Rose & Crown. Nice town and looks like it remains so today.
Thanks so much John, I was surprised how great it was. Could have spent the whole day there. Funny enough Rose & Crown was one of the few pubs I didn’t see! 😁
Loved the “Christmasness!” I must say. The “pram” art was a masterpiece too. But all joking aside…this video was really interesting and you are definitely 💯 getting better with the camera skills. Thank you Jack xx😊
Great video, I have enjoyed your look around Canterbury. I have visited several times over the last couple of years but not at this time of year so thanks for sharing your day trip.
@@jackryanmiller Jack they could film a Christmas Carol in Rye without a film set, Rye is the film set. Also Rye is the best place for Bonfire night, it is always held on the Saturday after November the 5th. It is amazing. 👍👍😁
I do think that Canterbury is lovely at Christmas time, they do 2 tour boat rides in the summer. One in the town and the other in the Westgate. I know the perfect restaurant they do roast dinners all week, it's called Old Weavers House in the town. Give it a try next time your in Canterbury Jack! 🙂
Hello, very nice video! In the beginning of the video you mentioned that the christmas market is till the beginning of january. On the internet we saw it ends on the 24th of december. We plan to go on the27th. Do you maybe know what to expect?
Thanks very much. And I’m so sorry for any confusion, sadly it does end on Christmas Eve - I went to two markets on the day I filmed this and got the timings mixed up ☹️
My home town! Good vid!
Thanks very much mate

Canterbury tales attraction is no more, been closed a while now
Ah it was a big building, hope they replace it with something good!
is anything open on Christmas day? Staying in London and looking for somewhere or something to do
Ooh I think maybe not in Canterbury but if you’re staying in London on Christmas Day I’d say a lot of stuff is open as normal (apart from shops)
@@jackryanmiller thank you for the quick response.
