Yes, the first time I did, I won $1400 on our max bet of $5. Here in Queensland, you can't bet any higher than $5 on all denoms at all pubs and clubs and you can't put any more than $100 in the machine at any one time also. The only place you can bet higher is at the Casino.

I wonder what would happen if you hit the jackpot right away. Usually we play on, because we are there to play so it's not about the money. And so, we then risk losing it all. It happened to me numerous times.

I was told that a RANDOM JACKPOT happens when the game goes on past a certain dollar amount without any wins. So, for example, if you put in over $2000 and the game did not even pay you for a line hit, then the computer has to pay out a random jackpot.
