Yes, the first time I did, I won $1400 on our max bet of $5. Here in Queensland, you can't bet any higher than $5 on all denoms at all pubs and clubs and you can't put any more than $100 in the machine at any one time also. The only place you can bet higher is at the Casino.

I was told that a RANDOM JACKPOT happens when the game goes on past a certain dollar amount without any wins. So, for example, if you put in over $2000 and the game did not even pay you for a line hit, then the computer has to pay out a random jackpot.

I’ve done that many times and this is the only time I’ve hit a random jackpot. I would say that’s not true.
