I am late to this party but just discovered you. Have to chime in to say, I saw George Benson perform this live in San Francisco in 1983. I remember the year because I was quite pregnant. At any rate, it was a theatre where the stage was round and rotated slowly throughout the concert. I remember there were over a dozen musicians, everyone as talented as I'd ever seen. It was so impressive to see and Mr. Benson was a warm and welcoming entertainer as well as being incredibly talented. Having said all of that, HSCC's performance was amazing!! I am stunned at the talent and perfection! Great job!

I personally think jazz funk is one of the hardest musical genres to play really well for a band. Time after time you get it right. As someone who has loved this music since my days growing up in the early 80's (and as a musician), I salute you.

My dad was jazz vibraphonist in the 70s, I was bought up with jazz and it's in my soul. I love this band. Fantastic sound and brilliant musicians. I wish jazz could be mainstream again. There should be Jazz unavailable to the young; the next generation xxx♥️

@@chrissims518 I believe the horn sounds are coming from the keyboard in front. Most keyboards can be set with two different “sounds” for left and right hand. Watch it again and you’ll see. I’m fascinated by this too - getting ready to buy a keyboard like this for myself.

Saturday I am going to sit down - which I never seem to do these days - and have an HSCC marathon. I mean seriously this is as good as it gets - the songs, the arrangements, the artists/musicians and production are just A1.

The difference between a good singer and a great singer is that while a good singer sings with emotions, a great singer emotionally owns the song. Andy Owns This Song! Love his style, smooth and cool. And everything in this performance clicks together, perfectly. I have viewed this clip over and over and over again, and will never get tired of it. Back to their roots...small environment. An incredibly difficult bass, piano and vocals to do so precisely. Every note and every drum & percussion beat is sooo tight!!! You make it look so easy. It’s. NOT! This is one of the best ever from HSCC ...and that’s saying a lot because all their performances are outstanding. I play/record almost daily here in California and you guys help me constantly with your obvious desire to ALWAYS get the fundamentals perfect (the groove, tight band, precise playing, every note and beat clearly articulated and easily heard). Add excellent singing and then, if that’s not enough, how about throw some surprises in on every song. I learn something new to watching you. I recently did a cover of this song, but after hearing HSCC maybe I’ll just take a two week vacation from music. Then, after clearing my head I’ll come back to the Studio.... and completely quit ! You’re the best.
I've said it before, but I have to say it again: HSCC is simply amazing! The choices of songs, the arrangements, the assembly of the band are perfect, all great musicians and singers and, it is noted, they do everything with a lot of desire to do it well. Too bad, as far as I know, we don't have something similar in Brazil. We also have plenty of talent, but our decadence in culture, in sports, is something that would need to be studied well.

nicely done - Steve Lukather's writing in this tune has that jazzy side of Toto vibe. Andy's vocal timbre so suits this song. well done with the horn lines off the keyboard and of course, no better guitar playing
I keep coming back to this video probably 40 times over 2 years. Terrific rendering of a famous artist’s signature song. Guitar player has Benson’s jazz style odd tempo insertions down pat. Great vocal job as well on lead and harmony.
Amazing how this changing line up picks the perfect voice, musicians and song. The guys don't get enough props. This is as good as the original. Love the fact that HSCC doesn't change up these great originals too much. The different voices, background vocals and subtle changes is perfect! Just can't say enough about the musicians! Everything is spot on. So great to have HCSS do justice to all my old favorite songs. Nobody better.... Great vocals Andy, Con....the absolute coolest bass player ever. You are all fantastic!

It's 8:00 AM in Springfield, Penna. and I'm listening to an incredible band. All of the musicians and the singers, especially the women are so so talented. I could listen to them all day. I am 77 yrs old and it keeps me young and have so many fond memories. I wish the roads were clear to go to Australia but unfortunately its not. BUT IT WILL BE, HAVE FAITH ITS GOING TO GO AWAY. Back to their roots...small environment. An incredibly difficult bass, piano and vocals to do so precisely. Every note and every drum & percussion beat is sooo tight!!! You make it look so easy. It’s. NOT! This is one of the best ever from HSCC ...and that’s saying a lot because all their performances are outstanding. I play/record almost daily here in California and you guys help me constantly with your obvious desire to ALWAYS get the fundamentals perfect (the groove, tight band, precise playing, every note and beat clearly articulated and easily heard). Add excellent singing and then, if that’s not enough, how about throw some surprises in on every song. I learn something new to watching you.
I recently did a cover of this song, but after hearing HSCC maybe I’ll just take a two week vacation from music. Then, after clearing my head I’ll come back to the Studio....
and completely quit ! You’re the best.

I've said it before, but I have to say it again: HSCC is simply amazing! The choices of songs, the arrangements, the assembly of the band are perfect, all great musicians and singers and, it is noted, they do everything with a lot of desire to do it well. Too bad, as far as I know, we don't have something similar in Brazil. We also have plenty of talent, but our decadence in culture, in sports, is something that would need to be studied well.

nicely done - Steve Lukather's writing in this tune has that jazzy side of Toto vibe. Andy's vocal timbre so suits this song. well done with the horn lines off the keyboard and of course, no better guitar playing

I keep coming back to this video probably 40 times over 2 years. Terrific rendering of a famous artist’s signature song. Guitar player has Benson’s jazz style odd tempo insertions down pat. Great vocal job as well on lead and harmony.

Amazing how this changing line up picks the perfect voice, musicians and song. The guys don't get enough props. This is as good as the original. Love the fact that HSCC doesn't change up these great originals too much. The different voices, background vocals and subtle changes is perfect! Just can't say enough about the musicians! Everything is spot on. So great to have HCSS do justice to all my old favorite songs. Nobody better....

HSCC and Andy Seymour are really one of the most under rated band and singer respectively. Without pomp and fanfare, you guys just belt out the highest quality music and songs. I am a Malaysian who studied in Adelaide 35-40 years ago. Would love to revisit and catch u guys performing live! Keep up the excellent work and my congratulations to all of you.

This is A very good cover of a Club favorite. I sure miss those days of going out and Dancing! Meeting interesting Beautiful People. All they want is the same thing. Well any today I'm 60, but those are some great memories. So now days I dance with my Grandkids and they have discovered that it's fun. But I enjoy their company!
