I love art, the child can be creative, they can express their emotion through paint; but as you mentioned I have to monitor that area, only a few kids at a time. Thank you for sharing your tips💖🙏
@@ascensioncano3606 - So glad they were helpful!
Watching the end snippets was so relaxing for me. I know your music was the video background sound... however, I love to play 'Baby Classical' music while the kiddos are painting. It is actually to calm Teacher nerves 😂 while the children enjoy their messy art process.😊
@@susanwilliams2807 I love playing music in the classroom! Calming classical and also children’s folk music. I’ve had people walk in while it’s playing and say “your classroom is so peaceful!”
My 3 year old Granddaughter Lily loves art!
@@jenscloset - ❤️ We have some serious art lovers in our classroom, too!
@@Teaching2and3YearOlds I love that!!
Great!👏
@@ruruokotie416 Thank you!
I run a preschool/childcare from my home with ages 1, 2, & 3. When I have 6 or fewer children, I am on my own. (When I have more than 6, I have an assistant.) I'm wondering how many children you have and how many adults? During our morning "free play time" they can play with: books, cars, trains, blocks, other rotating manipulatives, kitchen set, sensory bin, or come to my table for a "project" (which can be any kind of art or craft.) I'm trying to figure out how to offer more art with just one or two adults to supervise. Any thoughts?
I have 10 children with an assistant and a floater (she is in our room for part of the morning). Sometimes there are only 2 teachers (one of them being me) when we have the art table available. This is why I try to keep the project as open-ended as I can. If at any time it feels like we can't focus on that area (we are needed elsewhere), I can close the art table for awhile. I just remove the paint from the table during that time. Do what works for your situation. If you need to limit the amount of children at the art center because you are the only one there, do it. You know your situation best.

I was wondering...
I have 25 2-3 yo in a classroom with an assistant. So I can't have the art center up at all times especially when it involves paint. One of the kids used a crayon on the table and his neighbours' chairs. A year later we can still see some of his artwork 😂
We currently live in France and school is now compulsory at 3 years old... And they're not opening new schools or extending in our area as well as other parts of the country
@@edavid2557 - Oh yes, it's amazing how quickly they can mark up other areas of the classroom with crayons, markers, paint, etc. in such a short amount of time. They are fast!
Do you have a link for the roll of paper?
@@MrsJennysVids - They have different varieties and styles on Amazon. I don’t know the exact brand of ours, so I’d suggest searching for it there. 🙂
How do you keep track of who did what work since they choose when they do the art?
@@KelliDM I know who has and hasn’t, but you could always write it down, too.
I have drawers with their names and pictures for them to get paper from. Their names are already on the paper but sometimes they share their paper 😂
@@edavid2557 Great tip! Thank you!
