    Black women are single because they will not date/marry a man who is less successful than they are. Black men on the other hand will date/marry a woman who is less successful. Black women have high standards when it comes to relationships, which is mostly financially based. How much do he make? What career or businesses do he have/own? Bank account amount? Nothing to do with Love. Trust. Honesty. Loyalty. Relationship with God. (The nucleus of any great relationship)
    A successful black woman making $60,000 annually will not date or marry a brother making $30,000 annually. Facts. Very rare cases if any.

    It couldn't have anything to do with slavery because from reconstruction to the 1960's black people were the most married group in America and both men and women performed specific roles. Black women joining up with feminists and taking the welfare crumbs was the catalyst of the breakup of the family. From then on black women took on slogans that white women thought up of I'm a strong black woman (something I've yet to hear any white woman say about herself) or I don't need no man. Since then black women have raised their daughters to not depend or submit to a man. In doing so she robs the her daughters of the experience of seeing what black men mean to a family. If you want to find the cause of black womens confusion of why they're single, look no further than their mothers doorstep.

    The slavery reason is nonsense. 50 years ago 70% of black women were married now it's like 20%. Has nothing to do with slavery. There are many reasons but slavery that happened to someone else by someone else over a hundred 100 years ago is not the reason. How about black women look in the mirror as see how they act. Probably a better place to start.

    the whole "BLACK WOMEN IS INDEPENANT" thing is kinda stupid , because the truth is WHITE WOMEN, ASIAN WOMEN & HISPANIC WOMEN are also very INDEPENDANT as well, its just that WHITE, ASIAN & HISPANIC WOMEN who are independent are still smart enough to know how to let a MAN lead the way & take care of the HOUSEHOLD , where as most BLACK WOMEN are to HARD, STUBBORN & CONTROLLING to the Point where they wanna be the BOSS in the relationship, which Emasculates the Man, & that's why most MEN don't wanna MARRY BLACK WOMEN, & that's why BLACK WOMEN will forever be the most SINGLE group of UNMARRIED WOMEN on the planet

    Its not that women are taught to be independent because a lot of women are taught these same skills (they just dont name it independent woman). Instead, its that our black women are not taught how to pick the right partner for marriage. Neither does the men.

    Ok...I see u recognized the training. My 1st comment was a few seconds before dat. I went in too early.

  • @t_adams
    @t_adams 8 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    Independence trained or otherwise is not an issue, what is the issue is it has been used as an excuse. You said you know a woman with 5 kids and no husband, how does that happen? Why would anyone want to marry someone with that much extra baggage? Yes men can appreciate a smart woman but why should degrees impress them, it is not as if she is going to take care of all the bills? Men are still looked at as the bread winner when it comes to marriage. Just like women men have a list of wants also, and since they are expected to be the bread winner, how far a woman went in college is not that high on his list. Most black men know they do not fit the ideal image many black women are looking for, and they have come to terms with that, yet black women knowing that ideal is rare do not want to lower the bar, and they should not have to, but that goes both ways. So you and your may think your friends are very attractive, and not to say they may be nice looking, just like they may feel most men do not measures up, maybe the men they are chasing feel the same about them. It has nothing to do with hair, and yes looks do matter a lot, just as is does for women but it is how women treat men that counts for much of the attraction. It can't be an act either, bate and switch has put many black men on alert. Most men would like to meet that special someone in their early to mid-twenties settle down have a family and have that happily ever after, but they are not the hot guys most black women look at, or even would give the time of day. Less than 40% of black men have kids and less than 20% of those who do have many kids with multiple women, which show how few men black women are choosing. A few of which are guys with nothing but good looks to offer. When a man does this he is called shallow for only looking at a woman's looks, when a woman does it, well what have you called your friends that have done this, really to their face? The no male leadership argument also goes out the window because those women have never told the men they choose to have children with they had to lead or do anything first. Then after the hot guys hurt them they treat the rest of black men as if they did those women wrong, why? Or the men should go sit on the shelf until these women choose to bless then with the chance to what, try to win her over? Again why should these men do that? Your friends sound like they are in their 30's or older, maybe if they chose one of those medium hot but nice guys they met in college, they would be happily married now, but would have meant lowering those standards a little when it came to looks. As for career, yes women have a handicap, but it is not men, but time. Also that achievement comes at the cost of time, so like white and Asian women black women have to make a choice. If you have issues with that, take it up with God. Speaking of which, we all know going to church doesn't a good person make. How does God feel about having 5 kids with no husband?

    • @mochamaya66

      T Adams Thanks for watching. This video was meant to spark conversation not to set standards for anyone or their life choices. It's my opinion. Thanks for sharing yours. As for God he is the only one in a position to judge. Why would any want anyone with children? Well the easy answer is: they fall in love and relationships are never like in the movies- they will not be perfect. lol. No human is perfect without sin. God bless!

    • @rationalone100
      @rationalone100 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @ T Adams - I notice that she doesn't address the issues you brought up. This video is just another black female who skips over the real issues, one of which as you stated they (black females) will look over the guys in college because they're not hot or playing sports. Unlike "Becky" when she in college she choosing looking for a mate.Once they (black females) enter the workforce they then find that there is competition for the educated brothers and they find that they can't compete. With that said it's the brothers fault because they can't find a partner lol.And then there's this ideal that an educated man who has put in the time at school and on his job /career to position himself to provide for a family, should just throw that away and chose an overweight woman with children. These women bring nothing to the table but hardship and baggage. What man in his right mind would go for that?

    • @mochamaya66
      @mochamaya66  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      rationalone100 Thank you for watching the video. For your information, I as well as other BLACK women married well- not a sports player, but and educated brother, who I met after college. We went to different colleges. He is my heart. I picked him and he picked me and we were blessed to find each other. I did , more than compete, I won. Becky does not exists in the minds of BLACK men who love themselves and their people. My husband is one of the, educated brothers
      who only ever dated Black girls. So I am PROUD to be his wife. You see when you love thy self you look for someone who reflects that.You missed the point of this video. Watch it again.

    Why is it women are valued for their beauty and income but men thumb their noses at women considered high maintenance, gold diggers or act Butch? Men say they don't want females after their bank account, yet why do relationships get based on money? Besides the obvious, how is a relationship going to be honest if there is only conditional love?

    Paying on a house, is different than actually owning a home..You own it when you finish paying for it...car note, and student loans --same principle. .
    Now again, how many of your friends are independent?

    • @blackadam6871
      @blackadam6871 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      BW will do anything to be accepted by white society....Even most of the ones with degrees are a major burden.... They foolishly spend money, buying houses that they WILL NEVER be able to pay off...The same with cars, etc....and leaving their children anything will be almost impossible....
      Then they will get old, and the system will end up getting their house, while they end up lonely in a nursing home (facility)....and thats THE END!!! I know because I already see it happening....... :(

    7:25 I kinda disagree with. I entered into a lot of female lives and they were upset with me because of the last man in their lives. I've always been a hard worker, peace maker, and Pretty much a quiet person. It's an insult to a man that spends his life living right to have to examine himself time and time again to adjust himself constantly to keep peace around a person who has ABSOLUTELY NO PEACE in their own life. When brothers see that they're wasting time sifting in the US, then we start visiting places like the Central and South Americas.

    While black women are single, most of them still have kids. Aka they're baby mamas. Most men find that to be an EXTREMELY undesirable piece of baggage. Why would a man want to be financially burdened with taking care of someone else's kids? Black women lead the nation with being single mothers. That's on them. Naturally this leads to these women having "gold digger" traits. They want a man to "take care of them" and their kids.

    You are wrong. Before Black Women hitched their wagon to Feminism things were different for them.
    I grew up in the 50's where the vast majority of Black Women were MARRIED. The vast majority of Black Women I encountered were all MARRIED and had children who I went to school with.
    In the 60's There was the Feminist Movement and Black Women hitched their wagons to it. In order to get Government Housing there could NOT be any Adult Men so Black Men got the BOOT by Black Women.
    In the 60's there was the Vietnam War of which hundreds of thousands Black Men were DRAFTED. This took away young marriage Black Men. Many Black Men returned home with issues from Vietnam. I saw this happen to many relatives.
    Black Women in College adopted the I am a Strong Black Woman and I Don Not Need a Man Attitude so many Black Men said, ok see ya. Now they are alone and they ask why?
    Many Black Women when young chose thugs, criminals, pimps, parolees, guys on felony probation, and guys on the run. Those Black Women turned their noses up and asses away from Good Black Men. I saw this in College when meeting Black Women but all they wanted was guys who had swag and who dogged them out.
    So many Black Women who I encountered after College had a kid or kids and who wants an already made family? Dealing with the ex and his bad ass kid or kids is a bad situation. Who wants to deal with the ex coming by and the Woman arguing with him. Too much DRAMA.
    That is how my Uncle got killed. The ex got out of prison, came home, saw he had been replaced, got a gun, shot my Uncle from behind in the head.
    Today so many Black Women have ISSUES and DRAMA in their lives. The biggest issue is dealing with their kids from different guys. Who wants that?
    Becky who you hate, knows how to use and be on Birth Control and to have an abortion or use RU 486. Becky does NOT have kids. Yes there are many Single Mothers but the vast majority are not.
    I met a handful of Black Women who did not have kids. They thought they were all that so I said good by. The other Black Girls had a kid or kids.
    I met Becky and the Asaian Girls and they had no kids. I met the Latin Girls, some had a kid and others did not. I met the Indian Girl, she had a MBA, no kids, and was still a virgin.
    I met my Wife, she is from the Philippines, never been married, no kids, College Degree, has a job, was still a virgin, and never goes around saying she is Strong and Does NOT need a Man.
    Those were my choices and I married the last one because we NEVER argue. She is how my Mother, my Aunt, my Grand Mother and how the Women were when I was growing up. They shut up, cooked, had babies, kept the house immaculate. My Mom was married for 38 until Pops died. Grand Ma was married over 50 years.
    Many will not like it but those Women were all Black and MARRIED. None had kids before they met and MARRIED. None ran around saying how Strong they were, and NOT ONE SAID THEY DO NOT NEED A MAN. ALL NEEDED A MAN AND WERE MARRIED.
