What the hell is wrong with these kayakers at night in the middle of the water out there fishing with live bait and then what do you Stitch with a hook of course blood goes in the water and now he's in a kayak surrounded by sharks duh
It takes all kinds...kayak in the middle of the sea...face mask, 5 poles running...no room to move around in...40mph wind...no life jacket...got a fish hooked...and had to let him go! Probably a smoker too.

I just don't get the purpose of fishing for big sharks in a kayak...you can't land them and they could turn the tables on you. Also looked like you had Way Too Much going on and were Not in control of any of it. I have landed small sharks kayak fishing for Snook and other reasonable sized fish. But intentionally going after man eaters that far off shore you must have a Deathwish!
There is no shark attacking the kayak peeps. APBlackShark gets the hammerhead in close and you can see the line and the rod angle pulling under the kayak meaning the kayak gets bumped from kayak, but not a "Dangerous" Shark attack. But anything for views right. If that shark had really hit the kayak beam on and flipped it AP could have been in serious trouble. No life jacket, didn't see any emergency communications on him. Not sure if its ballsy or just plain stupid. PS @ddskimmer - I don' think he meant the wind was 40 mph, but that the line was going 40 mph. How he knew that I don't know, but I do know the wind wasn't 40 mph. I've been in 15 knot winds in my kayak which is about 17 mph and the sea is really chopping up at that point... like get back to shore. At 40 mph its 35 knots which is around 7-8 on the Beaufort scale. At that force in a kayak you are near fucked! Based on the conditions he's fishing in 0-3 mile winds. The flap on his hat is barely moving, the water is barely ruffled. Perfect conditions though.
Rational Logic Hi sir of justice, see the min 8:08 and tell me if a line shudders a kayak in that way since you know everything, if you notice is one of my first videos that I did not know or make them, unfortunately I did not have a camera As I have it now and if I had clearly grasped the moment it takes off and returns at full speed and goes up to the kayak, and the 40 mph is logical that I did not go at that speed, I only put it because it was going fast but not because I really go at that speed, besides that everything I mention that I do not have a better view is that there all I need is the countdown for the speed of the line ... thanks for your visit

Thus the shark is directly under the kayak. You keep winding up from 8:04 to 8:08 and seem surprised that winding up a big shark directly underneath your kayak would result in being hit. My contention is with the clearly misleading title and text narrations, not the actual video. Apart from the lack of safety equipment which is concerning for your own safety I think the video is quite good from a fishing point of view. (PS there are videos on youtube of actual attacks on kayaks by hammerhead sharks. Have a look at them and see the difference.) Cheers and stay safe.
