She had a creative talent with a camera. It didn't work out and it was only for a few months, but she met a lot of celebrities and said that Chris was a lovely guy and worked on one of his shows in the background. She even got a mention. She now had a successful business "Hair Candy Boutique" which is very creative.

hey billy it was me that told you that joke but I thought it was in the eglington arms in irvine. I used to see billy and gerry rafferty regularly at our local folk club. The humblebums were a folk group with a guy that could tell jokes while Gerry went to the loo. The jokes got longer and the music less. It was a magical evolution to a comedy genius.

We used to get free unsold tickets at the arts centre and a coworker told me I just had to see Billy whom I did not know at the time. So glad I got to see him live, we laughed so much. Only joke I remember today is the one about being so windy in Scotland that the only way to take a piss outside without getting sprayed was to lie on you back.

Billy is an icon ,,so funny and a unbelievable smart man . I,m 53 and raised in working class environment, same humor and storytelling. . Like this one ,,I, m dutch so I try to translate as best as I can. I heard about a buddy of mine that his mother suddenly died, ,, so I called him ,,hey man I just heard the bad news about your mother what happened? He said .. we had to work overtime 12 hour shift and didn't had time for some decent food . So we came in and asked mom can you fix us some food ,patatoes fries or something. She said no problem I get some out of the cellar ... 2 seconds I heard a scream hard noise ,,rushed to the cellar and saw her lying on the cellar floor Broken neck ,,instand dead, I said man that's fucked up ,,and what did you do when you saw her lying there ? He said ,,,we ordered chinese food ...
Billy's one of the only comedians that i've met that's as funny off-stage as he is on it. The fact that he doesn't rehearse or write down his material would explain that. Just a naturally funny guy regardless.

Thinks the guy, maybe if my mate comes here, he'll get a good leg! He rushes back to the pub to tell his friend about his good fortune, & show off his newly straightened back, & his friend decides to give it a go. He hobbles up to the graveyard as quick as his false leg would allow, & halfway through, the Devil jumps out from behind a tombstone! "Fucking hell man, I about shit myself! Who the fuck are YOU?" "I'm the Devil, what's that on your back?" "There's nothing on my back"! Well, HERE'S a hump"!!! 😂
That joke was a highly technical one to tell and had to be set up and delivered perfectly to work which mere mortals can't do. So an extraordinary brave and funny thing to do. That's what separates the legends from the mortal.
I totally understand what he means about when you’re on the lead up to a performance or something similar you get extremely anxious and nervous but the moment you hit that stage you’re completely fine, I have that happen to when I used to be at school and now as a guitar player, when I make my way to the stage I’m terrified but the moment I’m on, everything becomes a blur. Almost as if you’re watching yourself in third person but you’re completely switched on and aware, it’s a strange feeling but a great one none the less
