- Michael Rubin is the Co-Owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils. On this episode we talk to Michael about his path to sports ownership, creating Fanatics, failing at a young age and what he learned from that first failure to get to this point today. He also talked about his relationship with Meek Mill and his involvement in helping Meek through the legal process last spring.

Alex, you are a special person. You listen intently, lay back a bit, and then ask really insightful questions. I love you on MLB (Red Sox fan BTW), and I must say that I am now a huge fan of yours. Really showing the holes in your own thought process, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are "college dropouts" -basically only high school educated -so I say at this moment: do you think your thought process and conclusions are a great argument for college education? Not to attack you-- but that's is a real question. Not to mention A-Rod is doing very well for himself- on his own

I have to say I was never an A-Rod fan when he was playing. This was due to his attitude and his approach to the game. Getting to know him on a more "personal" level has made me respect him immensely. The way he freely talks about his suspension and the lessons he learned from it is inspiring. I love these conversations; they're always entertaining and extremely educational. So, thank you Big Cat and A-Rod for the series. Keep up the good work!

Alex man I wore s 13 from Roberto clemente 8 year old ball thru my one and done freshmanmyear at grays harbor community college because of who the way you dominated on the field. Your the greatest baseball player ive evern had the privilege of watching as a die hard yanks fan. You gotna raw deal....As I grew up and get older you continue to probe the entire world wrong as your far more than just a baseball player. I'm ranting but I want to let you know that 2 moments in your career have been what has kept me going and succeeding through rough times and plenty of doubters with my company I founded in 2010 that you are my legitimate hero man, when you took the podium after what the media did to you and said "nobody else is gonna have my back so I have to stand up for myself" and than after returning from suspension Sunday night baseball when dempster threw at you....than you took him deep dead center and trotted around the bags are moments for me that transcends sports and keep me pushing thru hard times the growing the company. You are absolute CLASS ACT. Fan for life. Thanks for your guts to take a stand when you had ur back against the wall onlyn to mmake it all the way back to the top as a business and life coach. Feels his $2.6 billion company is small ... THAT ladies and gentlemen, is why he's rich and we're not. Could've retired at age 21, and 25 years later dude is still grinding.
Is it just me or does A Rod tend to interrupt the flow of the conversation too often. I know he's got his questions to ask but he's gotta pick his spots a lot better.
