Thanks for the comments 👍 The transmission came from a 3.2 m3 e36 6-speed SMG, the sentering spring was missing after removing SMG system, thats why the shifter was wobbling. The car got an M50B25 engine, stock NON-vanos head. 2.8 crank. It had a precision 67mm turbo when the movie was made. Now a garrett gtx40. 855hp -1190nm. Brakes from BMW e32 750i and it got a 250$ lowering kit, and still do. Did 8:30 btg. Kind of exiting

The wobblyness is not the shift-arrangement, it is the whole car twisting from the torque/power and can only be fixed with a cage continuing through the firewall (fixing all engine-mounts and struts) and ruining the whole car as a sleeper.
The bottom of the car is not stiff enough to be stable as the power tries to twist the engine to opposite way. :)
Nordmore68 Sleeper is the ksy word here. Very beatiful e28. Do you know what swap that is? I havent seen a valve cover like that before but the black can be throwing it off for me.

Gotta work on the volume presets. Otherwise brilliant. I would be happy with a damn cam on my U.S. 535is and a lighter flywheel like the 533i I had. Then one day do the bottom end for a 3.8 stroker.

I have an E28 and my shifter does the same exact thing. Not as bad though, but you can move it while it's in gear. Freaks me out lol.

the first m50 b25 was the best vanos engines had alot of poblems so they tok the m3 vanos and that works myfirst e34 from 88 i fitted with a no vanos engine and it hits 250 km but i changed the engine to a m52 allmost new it could only take me to 215 km
