I have only just discovered this band. They are very good, like bits of Dire Straits, Jethro Tull, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and A/O/R/ bands like Journey..Anyway, some great guitar picking, and so melodic.They will never take over the world so to speak, but they can sure conjure up some emotions.
I'm only two years behind you. Funny, I was reminded of pretty much the same lineup, with generic "Southern rock" replacing Skynyrd as well as Moody Blues (in some sections). Cool collection of sounds -- from someone who gravitates to the harder rock side.
I'm so happy they've received more attention after so many years without recognition, it's pretty much thanks to the NWOTHM thing that's been going on for a while now that I found them, or maybe because the algorithm knew I'd like them being a big Uriah Heep fan. I really dig that era of Hard Rock that existed before Heavy Metal really became it's own thing, I love their blend of sounds like Almond Brothers, Blue Oyster Cult mixed with Heavy Metal themes, folk elements and that beautiful melodic guitar that leans on the neck pup of the Les Paul, that warm creamy round sound is so uncommon in hard rock especially these days. The one brother reminds me of Gordon Lightfoot both in his voice and his fingerstyle playing.
Excelentes rolas, hace falta más bandas así de este estilo de música no tanto mugrero de Prog. Metal que dan lastima, el cover de Blue Oyster Cult - (Don't Fear) The Reaper les quedo fregón. Los relaciono más con una música sureña modernizada como la de Molly Hatchet. Los esperamos en El Paso Tx, cuando menos en USA (son de las Vegas) tocan en EUROPA solamente?.
