      Curious what kind of mount does one need to get to film themselves skiing? Is this just a straight helmet mount? Or is there a small pole mounted to your helmet with the camera on it?

    • @wdhale14094

      I haven't had the chance to test this yet but I did read somewhere that the length of the pole can absolutely affect the stitch. So for things like this skiing etc, the longer the pole the better off it works. Would definitely appreciate the insight on this too.,

    • @frfournier
      @frfournier 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      0l1vi3r like you i'm interested how he mont the caméra when we saw him skiing at 25s to 35s. We saw him completely on the camera. I would like to know which accessories he used to fix the caméra on his helmet in order to have this complete point of view of himself

    • @matthewschuck8202
      @matthewschuck8202 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@frfournier If you pause it at :33 you can get see his shadow in the snow. It looks as if he has a pretty long telescoping pole. I believe that he is holding it in his left hand. Press pause around there and then hit the right arrow key to go frame by frame and you will see what I am talking about. I actually purchased the MAX about two weeks ago and tried it out. I quickly realized that unless you have the camera face relatively straight at you then you will get the weird stitching in some areas. He also happens to have great light whereas I did not. I also returned it knowing that I can just put my 7 on my ski pole and it does a great job as a selfie stick as well. I can capture myself from in front, behind(close down to my ski) and some shots of my friends. Hope that helps!
