Also so now new method is
Start with CBO and put one main adset broad level and start with few ads which we think can be winner
Once we find any winner , try to launch more dct with refernce of winner and also side by side launch different angles in other dct
The moment we see any dct picking up , copy that in main adset and wait till it picks

Hey man, love your content - always spot on!
I've been running my brand's FB ads with some old-school tactics like duplicating campaigns and using the same interests over and over. It’s still bringing in a great amount daily, but scaling up is almost impossible. I believe I’m missing out so much.
I'm looking to shift to your ad strategy. So, two things I'm curious about:
    1. What's the best way to transition to your ad structure with such a setup that I currently have?
    2. Should I pause or delete my current campaigns and start over, or is there a smoother way to switch without losing ground?
Your advice would be super helpful!

    • @NickTheriot
      @NickTheriot  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2 routes to go:
      1. Slow + less risky way: Start a campaign at 10-30% of daily budget. Put your top 3-6 spending ads inside of one broad adset. Slowly scale up as results allow and scale down other campaigns.
      2. Fast + risky way: Start a campaign at 100% of your daily budget, put your top 3-6 spending ads inside of one broad adset. Turn off your other campaigns.

Hi Nick, thank you for sharing your strategies. I have 2 quick questions:
    - How do you pull the ad ID from your winning dynamic creative ad so that you can use that winning combo in a standard ad but not lose your post engagement metrics?
    - Do you only use 1080x1080 creative sizes in your dynamic creative tests? Or do you also use 1080x1920 creatives sizes? I’m asking because dynamic creative ads do not let you customize your ad creatives for placements.
Please let me know whenever you get a chance. Thanks!

      1. Believe i have an example here th-cam.com/video/RdNw_p793w0/w-d-xo.html

Gotcha thanks for sending this over! What’s the benefit of using 4x5 for videos and gifs instead of 1x1?
I could be wrong but my understanding was that using 1x1 for gifs and videos made the creative more versatile to be displayed on both desktop and mobile? I know the majority of traffic comes from mobile but I was just wondering if by using 4x5 the gif would look janky on desktop.

    1. New YT set is looking super saucy!
    2. How would you recommend Clothing Boutiques tackling ads in 2024? Wide variety of SKUS, weekly "New Arrivals" dropping and very low volume of inventory in each SKU. I am in a bit of a pickle of an ad that takes people to a PDP sells out right as the ad is picking up steam. Yes, we could just stock more of that specific SKU, but it isn't our goal / mission. We want to keep inventory super scarce of each SKU and turn 'em quickly. (Currently stocking 3 of each size of each SKU then it goes away)

Hey Nick, it’s crazy to see you answering all this questions!
I implemented your strategy and achieved some good results and less stress managing my accounts.
    Still I have three issues:
    1) You can’t use multiple resolutions for dynamic ads. So which one do you pick, or would it be fine to use 3 separate ads each ad set to fix this issue.
    2) What do you do, if you are at 1k spend a day and your winners take nearly all spend but shrinking in ROAS, bearly being profitable but your new (6) ad sets not getting good spend?
    3) Since Facebook prefers videos my pictures never got any spend, still testing them in a different ad set, they are on a whooping 4er ROAS spending middle sized spend

    • @NickTheriot
      @NickTheriot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Amazing to hear!
      1. I use the resolution that majority of spend goes to (90% of our accounts is feeds, we have 1 account that is stories / reels so we do 9x16 for that one)
      2. Then that means yous new adsets are not better than your current winners

My question is that we sale T-Shirts, Trousers and Polo Shirts in summers. We have 8-9 Articles per product line like we have 8-9 different Articles for T-shirt, 7-8 Articles of polos and 10-11 article of trouser, further we also sale men underwears. Our only option is to run video Ads On Broad Targeting. What should be our campaign structure. Should we run different campaigns side by side for each product line like T-Shirt, Polo & Trousers. Or should we run one campaign and put different Adsets for each product line in that campaign, and should we use Abo or CBo in that given campaign.

    Hi Nick,
Question about ad creative/concept. You say for example that at a problem awareness stage you have to work your way down from problem to solution to product to aware.
Does this mean in a solution aware hook you cannot aggitate the problems you had right after? Because you have to move on to product aware stage and then to aware, so basically you cannot go back the awareness stage.
Example: I've finally found the right sole for my foot pain...
I had a lot of foot pain so my doctor recommended me..

Hey Nick, I hope everything is great for you. I have a problem. I am using you broad+dct method. Firstly I tested 3-4 ads in 1 main adset and I found my winner. And I closed other ones and make that adset my MAIN adset (the one I am gathering winners).
After that I created my DCTs and find another winner and move them to main adset. But the problem Meta showing me that my main adset is in the learning phase but my DCTs are not. I did not understand why main adset requires to take 50 sales but DCTs does not.
So is it logical putting winner ads from DCT to the Main adset which is in learning phase? Does it affect the performance of my winners or how can I fix it?

    Value as usual!
I am all in for dynamic creatives but what you do with formats (feed, stories)?
In dynamic you can’t put that in order.
Running only 1x1 for all looks like trash in Stories and Reels especially for ecom.
And I see that all big and successful brands do resize ads for both formats in 1 ad. For example ICON Amsterdam which you showed multiple times as references
    What you think about that?

90% of our accounts we spend less than 10% on stories / reels, so I don't cater to them.

Quick question Nick, I'm using CBO for a Facebook lead gen campaign targeting two homeowner segments: one focused on budget savings and another on quality leads ready to book. The challenge is will CBO favor the lower CPL of the budget-focused ads, potentially overlooking the less frequent, but possibly more valuable(lower CPA), leads from the second segment.
Could you advise on balancing these objectives in a single CBO campaign? Is it better to separate them into different campaigns for specific optimisation, or are there adjustments within CBO that can cater to both lead types effectively?

      @@NickTheriot also for videos?
I am using 4:5 for videos, but Meta recommends 1:1

Hi Nick! Thanks a lot for the value! I have a question: I understand that we should focus only on the best sellers for our ads, but do you do create multiple CBO campaigns for different AOVs (like a separate campaign for $40 aov and another for $70 aov). Or do you keep everything in the same CBO without taking this into consideration ?

Depends on the scenario and reason why i need to promote the other products

Hello Nick, thanks for the insane value you provide with your videos
I understand Campaigns should be separated for each country but does this also apply to country that speak the same.language?
Example : we do french ads
Should we do separate campaigns for France, Switzerland and Belgium ? Or put them in the same campaign since they have french speakers?

If they all have the same currency and same language, then you can put them together

Thanks again for the great video, Nick! If I use the exact same ad for 10 different countries, and my cost and desired ROAS are the same for all these countries, do you still consider my business objective being different for each country? Would you create different campaigns for each country in this scenario? Thank you!

Hey Nick, can we run ads to different domains from a single Ad account?
Why I am asking, if my Ad account accounts currency is USD and running ads to a website having currency EUROS, how would that go?@@NickTheriot
