- Hailing from the Texan underground rock scene, five-piece Narrow Head have gained a considerable following during their seven years in the game, largely for their open-hearted approach to songwriting and their killer riff-writing ability.
The group's sophomore release, 2020's 12th House Rock, channels '90s alt and hard rock with its cornucopia of gain-driven monolithic riffs, and solidifies their position as one of modern rock's most promising bands.
Guitarist Jacob Duarte joins us today to teach you how to play the album's fifth track, Hard to Swallow. This one's tuned to drop C#, although you'll also need to tune the B string down even further to G#. This allows the three highest strings to ring out harmonically together.

@@Andrew-ps5qc Andrew, I get frustrated when there are so many great musicians working so hard to do involved cover material as well as write. I am one of them. Presently playing finger style & working on Tamp em up solid (Ry Cooder) & Mexico ( James Taylor). Also writing & in studio putting together a CD of original material. Alot of work & very involved. Music that takes this level of involvement leaves me angry when I hear head banging stuff in those idioms. I like the sick riff site but sometimes I feel people showcase garbage. Sometimes they present great stuff. I feel the site could do better.

search for „drop c sharp guitar tuning notes“ or something like that in youtube, then you tune your guitar just as shown in the video you just looked up, then you tune your b string to g#, which means you tune your b string exactly the same as you tune your A string
the tuning then is not c# g# c# f# a# d# like a normal drop c sharp tuning, its:
c# g# c# f# g# d#
