Cordero is great, its not about budget its about creativity. And both Skold and Cordero are real artists. Love all videos they do toghether from Skold to Not my god
WOW just WOW. I am always amazed by Mr. Skold's band. The music always penetrates my soul. And the imagery in the videos are very cool. Have much respect. 😎🔥🎶🤘. Mother Metal 💀🖤
Skold is not just an amazing industrial artist, he got his start in heavy rock and is now back to make more impressive heavy rock ... with some industrial elements, Skold has never let me down.
@@timrippley1611 i know him since their first days as Shotgun Messiah too and as Kingpin also, we agree on that, maybe we just don't have the same appreciation about the style, "hair metal" for you and "heavy rock" for me, but we're talking about The Same Skold 🤘
Managed to see him in Shotgun Messiah, in both ‘91 and ‘93. That was by far the best era of Tim Skold. Even sat down at the bar to have an hour long conversation with him at the venue in ‘93, earlier in the day during load in.
@@sdreschke Hella jealous! At the 93 show where they playing any of the "Violent New Breed" material? I never heard If they played any of that album live.
@@maxmatson1578 oh most definitely! It was frickin epic! Was right up front! My girlfriend at the time, was absolutely in love with Tim at the time, so being up front, with her standing right in front of me, I would occasionally look around her head to see her face, and she was in a complete trance over him, it was hilarious. And she was hella jealous that I met and talked with him earlier in the day. I happened to work two blocks away from the venue (The Mirage) where they were playing. Me and my buddy(the girlfriends brother), worked together, and both big S Messiah fans, were driving by while on the clock,, saw the tour bus, and box van for gear,...and decided to go into the bar to see if we could bump into the guys. Sure enough, Tim and Harry were walking around. Called the gf from a ‘pay phone’, and said, guess who just walked by me, so she was freaking out, “get me an autograph” etc. Just a few minutes later, we were sitting at the bar having a drink n smoking cigarettes with him. Told him I would see him later than night with my gf, but my buddy couldn’t go, cuz he was on work release/house arrest. I still have the napkin somewhere with Tim’s autograph.
@@sdreschke epic story, Sound like it was an awesome show! I would have loved to hear anything from "Violent New Breed" play live. Also, awesome you were able to get an autograph! It reminds me of the time when I saw Chris V. The old drummer for "Nine Inch Nails" when they were opening up for "skinny puppy" as "tweaker" on their comeback "greater wrong of the right" tour. Me and my late friend Zack got the see them Before the show, during the show, and after the show. And got to shake his hand And Thank him. It was a cool time!
@@maxmatson1578 I got inspired. I’m currently crankin the Violent New Breed album on my drive home from work. Been awhile. There’s an enemy in me!!! Such a timeless album. It falls somewhere in my top 10 favorites of all time. Possibly top 5. I’m a big NIN fan too. Downward Spiral is also in that top 10. Probably best concert I ever saw. That tour in ‘94. Did Tweaker release an album?
I love the tones his band produces. Highly respect him his band and family. In fact I have been a fan for such a long time. Much respect to them all. 😎🤘
I honestly wonder if Skold would have done these last few albums in the 90’s, would he have been as big as Manson? If you haven’t heard the album he did in Shotgun Messiah called “Violent New Breed”, you have to give it a listen. It’s got this vibe and really it was before it’s time. I wonder if Shotgun Messiah would have done one more album after that in the 90’s hitting more in the industrial sound, would they have exploded onto the scene? I’m thinking so. I honestly hope you continue to make these great albums Tim. I’ve picked up all your albums and I’ve had you on repeat for weeks. I even bought new music and I still go right back to listening to nothing but Skold. I’ve yet to run into a song where I have to skip it. Good tunes from beginning to end on every album. Now when I watch old Manson live videos, I look at Tim and think, man he was on the same level as Manson if not better! Highly underrated musician with so much talent. I’m surprised and a bit glad he didn’t follow John 5 and Ginger into Rob Zombie. You know what would be killer? If Skold got John 5 and Ginger in his band. Sorry, I’m day dreaming out loud. Lol Just never stop Tim. Your albums are helping me get through all this bullshit going on in this world, so I thank you! Keep rockin!
Such a killer track off of a fucking phenomenal record! Its been on repeat on my iPod and if anyone hasn't listened yet check out his awesome cover of Depeche Mode's Blasphemous Rumours...stunning cover! Been a fan since 1996, A month after I graduated from High School the first Skold solo album was released and was hooked and was def stoked when he joined KMFDM in 1997, a band to this day I'm still a fan of! I wish the first solo album would see the light of day again!! I need it added to my iTunes collection! Skold, keep pumping out kick ass tunes and thanks for having been a major part of the soundtrack to my life for almost 30 yrs!! But I will say you are sincerely missed in KMFDM!! Hope one day you will join Sascha and Lucia again!! The Chemistry you have together is chef's 💋👌!!
So you're telling me, after all these years, the voice I liked most in Mansons music wasn't Manson but Skold. How did I never know this before? All this technology at my fingertips and I never thought to read up on any of this stuff
One of the most underrated musicians of our time.
Hate labels n' quotas
Tim is in my opinion the most underrated artist of the past few decades🤘💀🤙
Agreed!
You should rate him higher then,he's quite talented as everyone k ows.
One of the best guitarists out there too :) I'm happy he used it a bit more for this album
More than even you and I realize. He is the sickness and brilliance the Status quo cannot sustain... which is why that is.
For sure!!!! Why did he leave Manson? Was it because Twiggy came back?
TimTim has never let us down!!! This man is a musical genius, proving it time and time again!! Love this, and all things Skold!!
