There is not a more knowledgeable channel on youtube than this 1... I've watched this channel since when it had less than 20k subs .. this channel has put more fish in my freezer and boat than many others combined .. we love you richard God bless you and your family..

And to have the chance to fish like a mad man is just icing on the cake, and for me to fish with my Dad still yet is another great blessing for me.

I miss fishing on the Tenn river since I've moved out of state on new job. I'm fishin with ya on each video. WHOOO! Richard, your fishing methods remind me so much of my late father. He was a firm believer in 2 lbs. Test line. For multiple species. Bluegill, crappie, suckers, trout. I started watching your channel shortly after he passed. You got me through some hard times with your videos, and i thank you for that.
I'm not much of a winter time fisherman, but that smallmouth makes me get the itch. Love catching smallmouth on the river with light tackle and live bait. Your videos are the best sir!!!!

I catch winter cats up here in Indiana using a bigger bare jig head and put nightcrawler all the way on and leave it still one the bottom still.. you are awesome my friend!
We used to call this live lining nite crawlers fishing pools and eddys in rivers and caught everything with it. RGTFM has all that knowledge, God bless you sir.
Great video loved the content and for you sharing your knowledge and I love most of all you mentioning God for that is the most important. If it wasn't for the Lord above we wouldn't have any of this to enjoy. You know I had talked to a couple of old guys one time at a spillway that was loading there jon boat and I asked if they had done any good fishing and that was the one thing that saved the day for them. They told me they had caught everything on nothing but a nightcrawler and a #6 hook and just went along pitching at the bank and caught some nice ones. Tight lines and God bless 🎣🎣

Yup. I've caught almost every kind of fish from gar to largemouth to flathead on fresh nightcrawler. Most efficient on a sinker slip rig for lake fishing
yes indeed RICHARD, them smallie's are perty! lol I'mfrom eastern Kentucky, in northern Floyd county, and I don't get to fish for smallmouth often, but it is without a doubt, one of my favorite species to go after. there's a few lil streams around this part of the state that produce smallie's, but over the years myself and some of my friends and family take trips to the New River in western Virginia. sometimes you can really get on some nice fish out there. I've always wanted to go fish anywhere in the Tennessee river system. from what I've seen, and the specie's I've seen caught, it's definitely on my bucket list.
