He passed away January 3,1976 he was 23 yrs old. RIP Uncle Sonny.

Listening to this song back in the day started everything for me with music. This was my building block. The 70's, 80's, and 90's are some of the best music and sing along ballets ever. The reason why there are so many views and visitors nowadays, is because Generation X individuals like me, have given up on or are not interested with some of the music after the years of the 2000’s.

I was about 7yrs old, White as snow living in the suburbs and I thought Bandstand was corny and boring. Especially the theme song. I changed the channel and stopped. It was Sooooooouuul Train! They looked cool! They danced cool! The music was cool! I couldn't dance at all (I still can't) but that was the beginning of my love for "Soul Train" and Disco, Funk, R&B.
