Nice video. One small suggestion, work on sound levels. The volume difference between speech and music is high. I had to keep turning the music down and your voices up. No hate from me just a suggestion. I just bought an '06 and I'm going to do the same swap. Good luck fellas. Keep up the good work.
You should have taken all the seats out at once and completely detailed the inside of the truck then installed the seats, at least that's what I would have done because of my OCD LOL 🤣
Yeah we went to a junk yard and the truck was worthless besides the interior and they were about to destroy it and we negotiated the heck out of it they wanted like 1800.
Considering the different body style and updated bucket seats, I don't imagine that it would work in a seamless manner, you might have to do some rewiring and drilling....
All you have to do is determine which two wires on the seat are uaed for power and ground. This can either be do e with the use of a multitester or easier is to google the wiring schematic for the model car you took the seats out of. You can look at that schematic and it will list what color wires were used for power and ground. Then locate a power wire in the vehicle you are putting the seats into. Normally there will be a plug under where the seat will be situated and this plug will have a wire in it that can provide the 12 volts you need. The ground wire from the seat can placed under any near screw or bolt that goes into the metal frame or metal body part. This set up will work on 95% of the cars out there as of this post date
I’m looking to swap my seats too. I would like to know how you re wired the seats and consul? Thanks
Hey guys, did you make the heater/coolers in the seats work??? I would like to do that

Update. I paid an auto electrician to do mine. They said it wasn’t easy.
Max Ringer what did they do to get it to work so I can hire one and tell them to do the same?
Cheyenne Obregon they had to do some rewiring. I couldn’t tell you what they did as i am not aware. They did charge me $500 though.
Cheyenne Obregon an auto electrician would know what to do.
I would leave a like but it’s a ford .
