At 2001 they created the name devilish and 2003 they created the name Tokio Hotel. But ever since back in 2000 they already played on stage and had lots of concerts. They just released the first single at 2005

I was so mad when the tour came around. When the dates were announced, I had moved from Cleveland two months beforehand... And they did a show in Cleveland! Idaho/Utah is too boring to come to for most artists, so I suffered in jealousy that I was no longer in Cleveland lol

Tom's been in a relationship for half a decade though. He said in another interview that hooking up is behind him cuz of his girlfriend and that he's been "out of the game" for five or six years. And here he's saying a couple of years? Either they had an open relationship or Tom really need to learn the difference between "a couple" and "several."
