Thura, I ones had a very humble workmate from Nandi who casually invited me to visit him(40mins from Nyahera by matatu). He gave me simple and practical tips on how to transform my relatively dry and rocky land into a productive one. They are very humble people but very resourceful-and often underrated. He introduced me to animal zero grazing which I only closed down when moving to majuu. Wonderful people blessed with good and they use it well.
This house is another level. The beautifully done landscape gives positive energy all the time. I think the gentleman achieved this with planning and patience... This is true reflection of how good planning can change the look of our matters.
I loved the interviewee. First time posting here but just had to. First lovely home, he's also quite respectful and full of wisdom. He should come back at some point
You were just spot on the type of grass used, they are just Pemba grass.one is called Pemba green and the other is called Pemba variegated.anyway amazing landscaping work right there👍
In future should you have noisy background, kindly share with me the file. i will reduce the noise and send you quality file.I have a software for noise reduction. We also do that for podcasters. Thanks for the great episode in Nandi county.
What a blessing. Very therapeutic scenes and landscapes. The private river carries the day’s therapy. Happy and proud of a Kenyan brother - Mr kipsang &family 🎉🎉
This is what patience, dedication and determination can do! Kipsang Meli and his hardworking wife Hellen have been able to achieve after years of hard sweat … praise God 🙏🏾
Well done Wuon Odidi!! Well Done Kipsang you have put together a wonderful home. West or East Home is best. Your story from humble beginning is giving God all the Glory. I love it when you said " Give back to the community". Am in the Diaspora and Currently I live in Nevada I guess some 5 hours from Wuon Odidi (Which I will love to visit one day). Kipsang you have inspired a generation that it can be done. congratulation to both of you guys.
Wuon Odidi i thought geographically Nandi hills end in Seme, that chain connects into the lake basin, Kajulu is part of Nandi hills, Riat hill where the institute is, Nyahera area upto Karateng are part of the Nandi hills chain. But when we talk of Nandi Hills the place or area those places in Nyanza are not included. BTW Kiboswa is in Nandi-Kisumu-Vihiga county
Wuon Odidi, please suggest to him that this can be one of the most successful air b n b. Its breathtaking. The river is just on another planet, surreal.
It's a pity if that's the case. Dead asset. I wonder if only big things make people happy. You can have a tiny home but still beautiful. That place could accommodate 10 families. Imagine if the majority had these big spaces😊
@kencan254, asking what one does for a living is never a good thing in general and even worse what you meet in person for the first time. It’s that same connotation as inquiring about their political affiliation or religious beliefs. Not every information about someone is public, just coz it allows room for a lot of misguided interpretation about one’s life. When you also ask someone what they do for living , you pretty much close out other information you may not have known that the other person may have shared with you , which may have been beneficial or add to your knowledge base. just advise incase you meet someone you have never known for the first time…

Runs through his land!!
Interesting he lives there once a year

@DoriceAgol shout it Loud. Living in a small house in America.
@DoriceAgol for villagers to see
When they are home they are still thinking back and fourth coming to America, children, this and that, medical
Yall realize rich people tend to have multiple homes..right??
What did the host say he does in Washington?
Well...that part is private
