The songs of today dont even compare to the songs the Hinsons wrote and sang. Im 35 yrs young and love them!!! Never got to see them live, but wish I had!! Young people today dont even realize what they missed, not hearing the Hinsons.
Nobody in the world ever has, nor ever will sing like Kenny Hinson!! God surely made a SPECIAL MOLD when he made Kenny!! All we can figure for Gods reason to take Kenny home is just simply because he wanted him up there singing to him all the time, and who could blame God for that?!?! ☝🏼✝️♥️

Kenny was a great singer but there plenty of other great singers out there but I do love to hear Kenny sing
Huge lifelong Hinson fan here.
I've heard Kenny sing The Lighthouse thousands of times. This is the best version ever! That run at 52:32 is simply amazing. Only Kenny could do that!
Best gospel singers ever grace this earth; thank God for them.I can't stop playing their inspiring songs. That voice of Kenny is incredible, wish he was still alive but God knows best.
Kenny had the voice, range, and style. It was awesome to hear the studio version of a song then a live version and Kenny would change a phrase or something small and it was awesome!
Oh I miss these people so much!!!
I can’t find a way to simply comment so I’ll reply to yours: I totally agree! It was like a member of the family died when Kenny passed! I am always amazed at their talent and of Kenny’s voice!
A MILLION THANK YOU’s to WHOMEVER posted this. I am ALWAYS looking for old performances of these folks. They were dear friends and everyone of them were so talented, that we in the southern gospel family appreciated m9re than we can ever say.
We Love miss you all so very much. There is NOTHING like familial harmony. Especially when they are anointed by GOD Almighty!
I. Love how how Bo tried to be Kenny it will never happen Kenny was the best jealous will come back
Kenny is my all time favorite singer...and the Hinsons, my favorite group. As a small child, I cried when they disbanded, But their music will still be my life. At 36, I listen to them always. I have their music in my CD player non-stop!
Always special in my heart. Saw them as a 13-14 yr. old. Never got over it. Thank God. They were a real talent and they performed in a tiny church in Ky.
Ronnie's songs are just so good!
Kenny the best singer in gospel music!❤
Thank you HINSONS from all of us GOSPEL MUSIC FAN'S. I have followed y'all since the beginning on GOSPEL SINGING JUBILEE; MY ALL TIME FAVORITE . I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT YOU CHANGED GOSPEL MUSIC FOREVER.
This video is awesome!!! What a blessing. The Hinsons were truly anointed. My favorite Gospel group of all time. Thank you for sharing this video.
Oh my goodness this is so "INCREDIBLE' what a wonderful and amazing Concert!! We were so very BLESSED!!!! When Ronnie and then Kenny sang The Lighthouse WOW!! The testimony that went along with that song was such a blessing. Thanks for posting this. We loved it so much.🙂❤
Thank you Ronnie for giving us this pleasure of your talent❤
Miss Kenny's singing he was so anointed by God. Now he's in glory singing before God.
Now I see just how wonderful they really were.
My dad, Larry Lambert, and his group, The Lambert’s, opened for the Hinsons here. Possibly still went by Living Water then. My son was so small!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
I am from Birch Tree, Mo. They will always be my favorite. I have seen them twice but the first one means to me. In 1978 they were big. We heard they were coming to town Oh Boy! The concert was in the elementary school. The house ws packed. The spirit hit.
The good thing was my brother had lost the Lord and that night he found him again.. He went on this past Christmas time.
I was blessed to see the Hinsons live many times in venues large and small even in my own church once. Never did I see them when they did not hold a wonderful spirit filled service. This is an extraordinary video. Thank you so much for posting it. Praise the Lord!
One of the best live performances of the Hinsons ever, so glad you shared it. I was 21 when this was recorded and it’s exactly how I remember them. No words to explain the joy. Thanks!
Beautiful Bo Hinson❤

Missed Kenny so much. Now larry. Beautiful ministry.
@@supermanziggy Hi, I agree I miss Kenny he was the best, you said now Larry, I haven't heard anything has something happen to him.?
Sandra H Unfortunately Larry died recently, and unexpectantly. After his cancer treatments he had some residual problems. It’s a great loss for the family, and those who enjoyed The Hinsons.
@@supermanziggyI didn't hear about Larry that's really bad especially with Kenny and Larry both having cancer, I know they are grieving,I still listen to the Hinsons everyday, well thank you so very much for answering me back I sure appreciate you telling me.God bless you.
So love they never grow old blessings love to all 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💕💕🙌🏽🙌🏽🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🎼🎼🎼🎼🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Man I miss Kenny!
Me too brother. Nobody like him.
Me too! Such a humble man. Nothing can match that voice!!
@@randybock82 so glad to see others still remember him and keep his voice alive.
Oh how I miss Kenny he was the best, no one can ever come close to singing like he did, and he was such a wonderful christian.we will see him again.
@@clintoncrewaa Kenny signed my guitar back in 85. I still have it.
I loved everything they sang!
One of the best bands in Southern Gospel. The guitarist, Kelly Back, went on to beocme one of the busiest session players in Nashville. Daryll Lecroy (the steel player) played in Nashville for years as well as for groups like Gold City. (Sadly, Darryl passed away in 2020.). The drummer, Tracy Preston Richardson, could do more with a snare, a bass and a hi-hat than most drummers could do with a full kit. (Sadly, Tracy passed away in 2012). The pianist, Rodney Lashum, passed away in 2002 at the age of 44.
There will never be another live band like this one.
Miss Kenny now Larry. That ministry helped from the anointiing.
Love it Yvonne ❤
the Hanson are some of the best gospel singers that I ever heard I hope they keep coming on around and singing
Love you Hinsons!❤
Love ❤️ you Hinsons
My mom was in this concert she remembered this was the first time she seen them
Love the whole group and miss there music, i have only 3 of there CD’s but Lord willing I will get more i love them so much, just wait till we get to Heaven and get to hear them again , what a glorious day that will be to see Jesus face to face and the music I believe will be the best for eternity, i’m excited for that day, to be with our Lord and savior for ever praising him, i could go on forever about all the wonderful things i look forward to i thank God He shared Kenny and the group with us for a time wish it were a longer time but God has His reasons and seasons for us all , God bless all
Can't get much better lord has truly blessed them and us love you dearly you bless Jesus Christ bet he taps his foot when you singe and play for him!
Love it. They were special ‘live’ in concert and now this video shows it again for so many people. It even includes the hard to find song The Journey. I saw them many many times in Fort Worth Tx with my friend John Kerry playing bass!
I am so blessed. I will stay on the Lord. Thank you Father
Thank you for the posting of this rare footage of the Hinsons. My favorite gospel group of all time.
Kenny killed that I could still go free
So full of life for God love this group 💕
That’s when groups cud sing with a live band, I miss those days……
Now, the singers in a lot of these groups are backed by computers and recorded music. It's kinda pathetic, if ya ask me.
Seriously pure gold. Ronny’s impromptu of “Soul Filling Station” was crazy. They obviously had not fully arranged the song for “The Legacy Goes On” album but this raw cut is priceless. Thanks for posting this.
This was my favorite group loved there singing
Call me lord I'll work for you, a great song.great singers.
Love this goup.
Group
Thank you so much. I have been waiting for anyone to put more concerts on here.
I never got to see them but still sing their songs. Thank you
They lived what they sang about that's for sure
Hinson GOLD :-)
Thank you for uploading this, they were my favourite gospel singers growing up!
That's some good, anointed, gospel singin!❤
Kennys preaching was just as good as his music❤
This is gold. Thanks.

What is Kenny’s son’s name? I couldn’t hear for the clapping.
Ronnie's son is Bo who stands next to Kenny in the video. Kenny's son is Weston who sings just like Kenny. Weston is the lead singer of the Hinson Family now.
@@scottsogo thank you

I do not hear Ronnie very much.
i cant believe you get credit for the video I MADE.....REALLY
I take no credit for this video. I attended this concert with Kevin Grant who made me a copy of the video, and I have had no way of getting in touch with him since 1986. I posted it for everyone's enjoyment.
Good job Bo❤
Love Yvonne ❤️
Best Band❤
