I’ve been listening since I was 7 years old and my older brother would put him on. then when I was 12 I would burn a fresh cd of almost all em and get thru about 10 seconds of it before my dad would smack that shit off and say “what is this angry trash you are listening to.” As someone who grew up with drug problems in the house and had them himself, his music always reminds me you can make it out and make a beautiful life out of a broken one.
