These sermons are not "full of the Lord's Spirit" rather, they are replete with Biblical truth-truth which stems from the Holy Spirit who is God. [cf. 2 Tim 3 v16-17/2 Peter 1 v19-21/Acts 28 v25]
Love is proof of Christ. If we love one another we know that He is in us. That’s how we know. No man sees God. What we do see is His love-through one another.
@@carolovesteven proof of Christ is in historical records and prophesies that came true. Love is a character of Christ and of those who are Christ-like. Love is a command of Christ in obedience.
@@carolovesteven no man sees God but they SAW Christ. Hence Christ is the proof of God. The only reason you know God is in us, is because Christ who is the proof of God, told us he would send the Holy Spirit. It’s not because of “love”. We see how people “love” these days and it should tell you that the focus should be Christ, not your subjective notion of love. If you do not know Christ you can never know love. So how then can love prove Christ? . Please let’s stick to the Bible on these matters rather than give undue reverence to characteristics and not the being of Christ and God.
@@carolovesteven Good passage sister, but HOW does this PROVE Christ? No man has seen but God but they clearly saw Christ. He was human and in the FLESH. That is proof of Christ! . John 1:18 states, “No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He [Jesus] has revealed God to us” (NLT). . After John states that no one has ever seen God, he writes, “But if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is made complete in us.” The love Christians should demonstrate (by following the bible) reflects God’s love. We cannot see God, yet when we exercise love, we know that God is dwelling in us. . Christian love is tangible evidence that God dwells with us and is in the gospel, because it moves us to love. It is not a proof of God’s being because God is not simply comprised of love. . This is my point - Jesus proved God, Jesus revealed God to us, Jesus came in the flesh so we know he is real, he showed God to us so we know God is real. Yes, you can experience Gods attributes separately as evidence now for those of us who did not see Christ, but the proof of God (and Christ) is even more clear.
Isaiah 40 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
