I've been there too my friend. However, EV training got easier over the gens so it'll be easier to manipulate the stats you want. Good luck on learning pokemon. 😄😄😄
@@Miso-tz3wj What are the settings to look for battles like that? I know that you can either ban the legends or allowed the all in, not about putting a limit of how many legends u can use.
@@maniacteal2918 i believe when you want to queue up in the vgc format the rules are already set and you just have to bring pokemon that follow those rules
you know what i recently using support umbreon (helping hand, foul play, taunt, wish) and i was suprised is pretty useful, and then i watch this game and im just like "oh yeah i know that shit"
I'm trying to care about VGC doubles but really.... I just want 6 vs 6 singles to replace it as the main format. 3 vs 3 singles and VGC doubles just doesn't excite me to watch or is as fun to play. Besides horrible stall teams, 6 vs 6 singles is so much more fun imo. Why can't we at least have both be the main formats?
@Ramekbal Singh I just don't get why we can't have both! We all know singles is the preferred play style by the vast majority, and the games themselves focus on singles. So why is it ONLY doubles when it comes to being the main focus, y'know?
@Ramekbal Singh Well I imagine the easy solution would be to have doubles and singles at different times of year as separate events. Next easiest is to do a bigger event that can hold them both one after the other. Third would be to cut TCG from VGC and have the TCG be it's own unique event, having singles and doubles VGC being the main two events instead. Having two worlds winners isn't a huge issue as their titles will specify if their the singles or doubles winner, maybe we might even see a single person hold both titles at once- that would be impressive. Splitting Singles and Doubles that way wouldn't be wise because it will no doubt lead to view splitting like you said. Maybe the rounds leading up towards each divisions semi-finals battles can be done simultaneously, with semi-finals to finals being one after the other. The only issue I really see is that singles might kill doubles entirely. A lot of the main VGC crowd as of right now might keep interest but I think few newcomers would go that direction over singles. Purely based on the overwhelming presence singles has on Showdown compared to doubles (and showdown is arguably the most popular competitive scene despite not being official or giving prizes etc). If gamefreak or nintendo want a bigger event with more fans like they say they want, adding singles is a sure way to accomplish that. We also don't 100% know what the future will bring with Sword and Shield, but we know they are putting a lot more stock into online competitions and stuff, we just don't know the details yet- so it's possible they can streamline VGC and cut out the invitation rounds, saving a lot of time, effort and money. It's unlikely but, possible.
Seeing a Yveltal just surrender to an Umbreon made my day.

UMBREON IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES AND MUST HAVE ON MY TEAM!
Glad to see it on the world stage!!
Very proud
These commentators are golden they keep things flowing even though they can’t read the japanese😂
When will the championships finally start looking different than they were a year ago...
I've always been the casual player and don't know anything about abilities, I.Vs, E.Vs, etc so I'm here trying to learn as much as I can.

And here I thought only anime characters could do that :O
I wish I could hear more of the translators talking with the Japanese players. I'm trying to learn the language, so that's fun for me.

Did they used "help" in order to save time breeding and get easily the desired ivs, moves and natures?
I hope Sword and Shield fixes the meta but I doubt it.
Yeah. I really dont like the meta either. Gems are bunk. Excessive legendaries are not fun either
It did.
That HP was definitely ice. HP Ice for sure. It’s necessary for salamence
So all of these tournament are going against each other to become a pokemon master?
i love watching Japanese players, they are the best at playing games. plus they made pokemon, who else could be better? go Japan!
Really nice to see Umbreon here! Go Blacky!
Framerate clearly wasnt a focus when making this game

VGC is like typical smogon.
Too many legendaries, too many primal and megas. (specially tapus)
Not really. Just depending on the VGC format
