Sweet video. Just bought one as well to get my speedo/shift point back. Bought it as well compared to teh pulsar since i allready have a pedal commander.
It is! It’s the Range Technology module, had it in my 2019 for 25k miles and this truck for 40k with absolutely no issues. Does its job, doesn’t cause any problems, hopefully saves my motor.
I have a Readylift kit on my Trail Boss too but I am still running the stock set up, the 275 65 18. Once I run a bigger tire I will have to calibrate too?
When I put it on cruise control it accelerated an additional 10 mph than the set mph. It then returned to the set mph and again accelerated 10 additional mph and kept fluctuating back and forth. When I removed the calibrator the cruise started working just fine. Other than the cruise control not working properly, everything else worked fine. I’m going to contact rc tomorrow, i probably got a defective unit.
Hey, awesome videos and awesome truck! I leased a 2019 custom trail boss and turned it in for a purchased 2021.Love these trucks! just wondering if your 4x4 auto works properly now that the tire size is correct.
Congrats on the purchase! I don’t use the 4auto due to ReadyLifts recommendation not to. It’s not due to the speedometer, but rather the loading of the front axles.
Hes back! 👍 Currious if you've heard any ticking that sounds like a bad lifter? Took mine into the dealership, who thinks its the fuel pump. A rhythmic tick that does not increase with rpms, coming from the front driver wheel well.
@@limitedslipautomotive The tick is not noticeable while in the cab or driving. Its only noticeable standing next to driver side door. Thats a cool product ill probably get later on once i get a lift kit and bigger tires.
@@USAUSAM82 Hmm.. I noticed mine the other day upon startup but it stopped after 10 seconds. As for the calibrator, extremely satisfied with it! Will have a full review coming out soon.
@@limitedslipautomotive I have a 2023 Denali HD ordered with 20” rims and I measured a truck in the lot approx 34” diameter and I want to use a spare set of rims and winter tires from my 2016 and they measure approx 32” diameter. This should do the trick every spring and fall when I switch tires back and forth. Thanks for the info.
Thanks bruh...very helpful..put 35s on my 17 titan n definitely gettin this
Thanks for the support! Definitely a worthwhile mod.
@@limitedslipautomotive absolutely bruh..no question..#Liftedcountry🙋🏿♂️
I have a RC calibrator on my 3.0. And the cruise control doesn’t calibrate properly
What doesn't work properly?
Great video! I just picked up my trail boss and I am loving it!
Congrats brother!

Enjoy it!
Wait so it has to stay plugged in? It doesn’t flash the BCM or ECU?
Correct, the unit stays in-line.
Is that a dfm delete in your obd port if so hows that working out?
It is! It’s the Range Technology module, had it in my 2019 for 25k miles and this truck for 40k with absolutely no issues. Does its job, doesn’t cause any problems, hopefully saves my motor.
They prevent multiple monitors from running on the truck and can cause a failed emissions test
did you have to leave it plug in at all times ? or did you remove it, im about to change my 20's for 22's on 33x12
It is an in-line module, therefore it needs to stay plugged in.

Yes, if you want the speedometer, odometer, and fuel economy to be correct. I ran mine for 15,000 without calibrating without any issues though.
I just installed this calibrator and it caused issues with my cruise control. So I had to remove it. Did you have any issues with cruise control?
That’s very strange… absolutely zero issues with cruise. What exact problem are you having?

Do you know if this volfs my factory warranty?
If you have a warranty issue simply remove the module before taking to the dealership.
What radar detector are you using
It’s an Escort Redline EX

Hey brother. No, no ticking like that, just some aggressive lifter tick the other day… Does yours persist while you drive?

Hey bro just curious if you actually measure the height of the new tires or just put the measurements into the computer software?
I just used my actual tire size. You can measure the exact height and use that as well. Mine is accurate within 1mph of my GPS.

Just curious did this help your fuel mileage at at?
It made the computer on the truck read accurately, as for actual increase it did not change.
