When I lived in the area, it used to brighten my day anytime I got to hear a harassed-sounding T driver announce "Gummint Cenna" on one of the older trains where the driver still had to do the announcements live. :)
Then there's me, who's never been on the Tube, never even been to the UK, couldn't place a single station but can still name them all thanks to Jay Foreman
No because he used the Cockfosters switchback rule, which allows him to name Mornington Cresent without ending the round in order to pick up bonus points.
You missed the East end of the Central Line mistake on your quick scan. Debden and Theydon Bois should switch places. Though admittedly, I wouldn't even be able to get close to 50 stations so you did better than I ever would!
After they changed the name of City station to Bank, you would have thought they would have renamed the line (and the City branch of the Northern Line).
Extremely impressive Geoff! 266 out of 270 is definitely something to be proud of. Something I'm going to try and do in the next few weeks is to travel at least one stop on each tube line in a day (maybe within a time limit). Should be easy. Impressive, no way I could do that. I think I’d be able to do 90% of zone 1 and the central line from central London eastbound since it’s the one I use most often but all the other lines there is no way. His love of the tube is epic

In this video you stated it to be KXX, now, the national rail station uses KGX, so is this a different code for the LU station (in which case, that's rather confusing!) Anyways, lovely video, like normal from you, looking forward to seeing some more!
Trackernet 3-letter codes are made up haphazardly by the team there. There are several sets of codes on most lines. The Jubilee and Central Lines' signalling codes are actually logical, most other sets are not.
Missed Sudbury Hill as well. Pretty impressive though, I couldn't even remember the parts I should know, only section I could name all of was Rayners to Baker St.
Although this test has nothing to do with streets/roads, as such, perhaps using it for familiarisation, would be a good starting point for those who want to do The Knowledge. Also as the area of The Knowledge in only a 6 mile radius from Charing Cross, then the number of stations in that area falls well short of the 270 total, which makes 'Filling in a blank Tube Map' a lot easier!
Colindale and Burnt Oak the wrong way round was another one, but this is still impressive, despite a few mistakes. I could do pretty much the whole of the District and Victoria lines, but the rest of it would be bits and pieces.
i live on the eastern end of the district line (between dagenham east and elm park) its funny how u got them mixed up (the dagenhams and elm park) lol im not suprised u got confused as they are all bunched up together on the tube map

Nice game. It could be a nice addition to the station master app. During boring commuting time people will check their underground knowledge with iPhone. It may have multiple choices and a score to beat. I don't think is difficult. I will do it for zones 1 and 2 in paper since I don't really visit anything outside them.
not a notiication as such, but Sporcle keeps track of your quiz plays each day, so you can see when a quiz has a big spike in plays. You may well have played a few of my other quizzes as well then...

Sorry for being picky, but you forgot Shepherd's Bush and Holland Park on the Central Line, and Theydon Bois and Debden should be swapped on the eastern end of the Central Line. (I swear I didn't look at a tube map while typing this)

My guess is that the mainline station at King's Cross is KGX and St Pancras is STP but the underground station King's Cross St Pancras is KXX.

Id be ok on most of the stations as far as central london using both District and Central and the "old" circle line but after that I think Id be lost.
