First of all, I think what Kathy Baldock is doing is awesome, and very much needed. I got to thinking yesterday, after this live event had ended, "What next?" Of course, in a perfect world everyone would say, "Thank you so much Kathy for enlightening us! Now let's print and widely distribute a true and accurate new translation of the Bible." However, based on what she found regarding the influence the evangelicals have with Bible publishers, this likely won't happen anytime soon.
Changing the views of the "Corporate Church" will be a long and difficult road. While many denominations, at least in part, have started to be much more affirming, it still still begs the question, "What can I as a Bisexual Lutheran, and we as LGBTQ+ Christians with the help of allies like Kathy Baldock do to help change the views of the church at large?"
I would love for Kathy to present her information the the President of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, in hopes of changing his views and in so changing those of the LCMS. But it won't be that easy. A few years ago I was speaking with a Catholic friend about the fact that Catholics can now eat meat on Fridays. She told me her uncle said, "It has been a sin my entire life to eat meat on Fridays, I can't just turn that off." At the very least, we all need to pray that God will work in the hearts of church leaders in this country and those abroad to see His truth, and leave the heavy lifting up to Him! #prayforchange #changeheartsandminds

I’d like to see another segment with the two of you. Maybe addressing more of the questions, if there were many that weren’t addressed. I love your podcast and your work Justin. Looking forward to this process of being open to what is truly biblical and what is misinterpretation or Mistranslation. My heart is open and I want the world to be more accepting and open...including the church!

I would like to see you debate with people such as Robert Gagnon or Matt Slick on here. That would be interesting.
