From what I've read, either Dave Filoni or Pablo Hidalgo said that the scene where Luminara gets up and stands next to the wall was a recording of her final moments before her execution. Chilling.
This is probably the creepiest scene in Rebels. When you see Luminara's death and mummification, it is somehow quite disturbing. It's especially convincing, given the role of this Jedi Master in The Clone Wars series.
I really wished Luminara would've still been alive, since she was one of my favourite Jedi. As well as that, it would also give us more of a reason to bring back Barriss Offee, since we never saw what Luminara thought after her trial.
We don't have to see it anymore, cause Luminara's voice actress, Olivia D'Abo, explained her thoughts on how Luminara would've felt about Barriss's turn to the dark side. Hakan Çamlıbel Actually, she still was involved in Order 66 and was attacked by clones too. However, she was on a mission together with Rex who had his inhibittor chip removed, thus he wasn't affected. Both faked their death together to escape.
OMG that was scary to watch. Anyone says this Rebels show was for kids is wrong. I saw beheadings, suicides, mandalorians roasted alive, inquisitors being cut in half, and sacrifice.
Order 66 while cool in theory sucks for story telling as there aren’t many Jedi left. It’s kinda like the sith’s rule of “2”. Surely there are more sith and jedi out there in that huge galaxy
The Empire could've faked the footage to lure in surviving Jedi who'd try to rescue her to get an old ally to help them fight the Empire only to be lured into a trap where the Inquisitor would kill or capture the Jedi in question.
