I'd add Valeri Bojinov to the list. In 2010 in a game for Sporting Lisbon for the Portuguese Cup Bojinov demanded that he takes a penalty. He hadn't scored a goal for a while, was often injured and had missed his last three penalties before this one. But still he pushed his teammate off and in the end came to the penalty spot. Well... Bojinov missed. After that game he was taken out of the squad, was running around low tier clubs and was more known for showing up next to Bulgarian pop-folk stars and models than football. He became a total meme in his country after being one of Serie A's greatest prodigies in the mid 2000s. Well, there is no I in TEAM.
About David Luiz I was one of the ones who didn't know why was he considered a top defender. Wasn't so good on the air, when left alone with skilled forwards they dribbled him, also he wasn't god to stop shoots, etc. but he was skilled to drive ball through the middle of the field ( which isn't defending at all) . I think the same of Van Dike. He goes well in the air, but when left with skilled forwards the pushes them or fouls them, (not fouls on UK ) but outside they are yellow, red cards, a Good average defender Yes. A Top no no no. Top defenders Stop top forwards one on one, stop shoots (most complicated),intercept passes, good headers, they get good to middle field by passing the ball. You can missed last skill but the others are a must. Those are the ones who keep your team from getting scored. They did not do good at this (but average). They play on defensive team and so mirage to be top. But no.

it still haunts me
7-1
These guys had the courage to persue their dreams, and that's something most people never, ever, ever even attempt to do in their entire lives. The connotation of this video is just plain asinine. Life happens ✌.
As a Chels, David Luiz was always class 💙
Can you make a video on players who took off their careers in one match.
Arnold= champions league semi finale vs barca
@@alfiejacob9382 im a spurs fan too
Rooney vs Arsenal 🤩
Gyan in india🔥
Lol 😂
Crazy how someone can perform amazing in 10 games and does bad in 1 game then the world starts talking shit about him🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
David Luiz is a legend
nelson semedo.
He doing rubbish for wolves
Wow I never thought of Karius like this
Why have you missed out Eduardo vs Birmingham when he got injured
David Luiz had the best part of his career after the 7:1. During his second stint at Chelsea he was one of the best in the world.
But no.
agree
@@thabom9791 Van Dike Against Lukaku this final they lost on penalties. Lukaku passed him every time. What he did.... he just faked nothing was going on. The play got lost afterwards ( but it wasn't Van Dike stopping it. He had no way to stop Lukaku. He looks good 1 German Coach 2 He is big and in a rude league that disguises the dump fans.....
Top 6 players who will never win a trophy
Boatang won the champions leauge last year lmao
I was very sad for David Luis. He was a great defender but terrible captin
Well,Boateng had his revenge
Much as Gyan had a bad day in South Africa, he has come off as a success in life. He now owns a string of businesses from an airline, boxing promotion, manufacturing and other lines of business. And he is still a legend at Sunderland.
The only name that pops up first in my head is the legendary “ ROBERTO BAGIO”... and his missed WC penalty!!😍🙏🏻
You're right legendary player but please write BAGGIO :-)
Higuain too, 3 final misses
I'm Emeka, a diehard Liverpool fan.
Karius made me cry in 2018
Messi taking revenge for the 2014 loss
David has been class ever since arteta came in, literally nobody but auba was good under Emery
I don’t think being humiliated by Messi is career ending…
David Luis and the brazilians had it rough on that world cup vs Germany. It was like watching a pro team dismantle some kids who play football. Thiago Silva was not there and Neymar had also been injured in the quarter finals and could not play the semi finals. I don't think it would have changed the outcome but it is worth to note.
Doesn't make sense for Boateng 🤷♂️
Boateng won against Messi in 2013 with 7-0 score
Boateng won against Messi in 2014 with 1-0 score
Boateng won against Messi again in 2020 with 8-2 score
@Anto Erickson True, but it's not career-ending like Karius's mistake made him. Seriously, I have no idea why he turned so bad.
at 2:12 doesn't he look like Gerald Huston?
Unbelievable they’ve been doing so good at all this years and one mistake they kicked off the game 🤷♀️
You so beautiful
Humiliated by Messi is something probably every single high league player has experienced
Stop the joke Karius was undoubtedly a great keeper
He was concussed by ramos
It's Sad When you Remember it was David Luiz's Screamer vs Colombia that Took Brazil to that Semi-Final in the First Place
To be fair the goal should have been aloud, just like a penalty try in Rugby, and Suarez sent off with Uraguay kicked out of the World Cup,
it took more than one match for david luiz to ruin his career. he is too inconsistent and makes many defensive mistakes
Agree. Was never world class.
the miss by Gyan still hurts me today.
A player getting humiliated by Messi, thats common he humiliates the whole team and 1v1 with Messi you are dead.
Karius is the latest and the most famous to ruin his career in one match because mistake in the UCL final. Everyone tries to show their class in this stage but he ruined his reputation by his performance
I loved Gyan he is one of my favourite players
I mean i don't blame karius that much he was fighting against the best club of all time of course he'll be terrified
That's okay, Franck Ribery returned the favor for Boateng and sat Messi on his ass later on. Funny how no one wants to talk about that. 🧐
