Catherine I am 75 years old and I would have loved to do what your doing even for a short time. To me you are so courageous. To be a young woman out by yourself and can face the wild like like you do is just so awesome to me. Please be safe. God Bless you and keep you.
What a beautiful place to just clear the mind. I love the creek .... wish I could do some fly fishing there!! Thanks so much for sharing. I really enjoy all of your videos. Take care!
Well, Betty, unless you have serious health issues, age should not be a barrier to living life as we want to. Sometimes when we are younger responsibilites do not allow us to do as we wish. No time like the present. However, if you do have health issues, I completely understand your hesitation needing major surgery recently, such events can sometimes put a crimp in one's adventures. Personally, I would feel more comfortable travelling with a big dog, a satelite tracking device and and a boomstick. Ideally, having a partner to share adventures with, however, sometimes, that leads to making compromises. For some reason, I have never been able to find the word, 'compromise' in either my Oxford or Webster's Dictionaries, not sure why. : -) Gla I found Catherine's channel, beautiful scenery, music and no drama, I love it! Safe travels Catherine!
The beauty of this channel is to be matched by none. From you Cat to the scenery, the editing, music, gracefulness of your work, you voice is so soothing and such a pleasure listening to. The eye you have for your videography. Every shot has so much beauty in it. You are an amazing woman Cat, and I want to thank you for all the work you do so that we can enjoy these places.
Thanks! We wish you all the best for continued safety and beautiful surroundings. We've been watching your weekly videos for a couple of years and you are a highlight of our week. We have almost crossed paths before - Lost Dutchman State Park and Zion this past year. We will be full-timers in 2024. 2022 Tiffin Phaeton 40IH based in Carmel, IN. Robert D. Bell and Marc/Volker Wiehn
Just enjoyed watching your new video been trucking with my dog Sniffers from Alabama to Wisconsin beautiful creek and scenery God bless and be safe ✝️🇺🇸
Catherine I really in joy your videos, it's not just the video's but it's the way you live,,, I wish I was 20 years younger I'd love to do what you're doing as well! I used to hunt and camp in my 30s and 40s and I loved it!!! I also love the thunder ⛈️ and rain 🌧️ sitting in, on my tablet playing chess,, watching the weather all of it!!! Can't wait until the next time you are in the woods!
Hi Catherine, I don't always comment, however I enjoy watching. Your videos are very inspiring. I appreciate the peaceful serenity. You're very courageous & talented. ✌😎👍
The flying pests can ware you out. Bought myself a bug suit for my remote camping/fishing trips. So sweet not to constantly wave my arms around. Thank you dear ♥️
God never ceases to amaze me! The grandeur of the mountains and sparkling cool rivers are beautiful beyond words. Thank you Catherine for capturing and sharing with us! Have a wonderful, safe week! 🙂🐦💛
Catherine,,, one of my many Joy's of driving a big rig for 40 years and 4.5 million miles across this big beautiful country was to find a remote spot with a creek or river and just sit and dip my toes in the water for a minute or 10...... The water just takes all the bad stuff away and let's you enjoy life!! Stay safe, stay busy!
Hi Catherine, I really enjoyed this video. Sitting in a chair in the river would be awesome soaking your feet in the river. Very beautiful camp. OUTSTANDING VIDEO. Wish I was there👍👍👍👍👍.
Morning coffee!! I can’t wait each night!😁 Gorgeous video…love the creek! Lawry’s, yes! Thank you for sharing the beauty! God bless and keep you!!🙏🏼☀️🤩💞
I like your videos. They bring back good memories of me camping in my younger days. Eventually, I would like to go camping again. Thank you for sharing your adventures, Catherine. Have fun & be safe.
Like you, I too am a procaffienator, nothing gets done til I have my morning coffee! Thanks as always for the gorgeous, relaxing content, and safe travels!!
Another winner! On this year's trip west, I hit my first monsoon on the first day out, in mid-Tennessee. My last one was in the Catoctin Mountains of Maryland on the last day. The only stretch of the trip without rain was in Boss Angeles. I enjoy a nice summertime thunderstorm. As long as it doesn't get too violent! Except for a chilled cappucinio to relax, I've not had coffee since 6/28/2019. When, at 3 PM, I tracked-down a manager to give my company security badge to, shook his hand, and said "AM doesn't just mean Amplitude Modulation. It also means Adios Muchachos!" (From graffitti I saw years ago in the men's room at 93KHJ) I walked out to my car, took off my company golf shirt, put on an "Aloha Shirt", drove away and haven't looked back. Had my best solo meal (I say that because of meals with friends in California and Las Vegas) of the trip in Blackfoot, Idaho at a place called Tommy Vaughn's.. I'm not usually the "sports bar" type. But, having a good steak with rodeo on the neaby big-screen made for a relaxing evening. May Almighty God continue to Bless, Guard, Guide, and Protect you! 73
Another beautiful and peaceful video. You are a true artist. I look forward to my morning coffee the night before as well! My wife and I live on a mountain in the Pisgah National Forest of North Carolina so we have beautiful views all year round!
You are so good at this Catherine !! I I know it is tough adventuring the way you do. The rewards are amazing tho, huh? You are so relaxing and appreciative of nature. Thank you so much for taking us along, and sharing your talents with us 🙂
Moved to NM in "14 when I retired. With 300 days of sunshine, miss the thunderstorms we got back east. Thanks for the sounds of storms, running water and birds. You should come visit our state sometime.
By this time next year I WILL be doing what you are doing. I'm learning, researching, & getting ready. I'm in my 50s & I'm doing it!!!! Me & my dogs. Thank you for these great videos of inspiration.
Hi Cat, I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos. You bring with you a level of professionalism that most videographers can't match. I really love this campsite that you found. Listening to a creek at night is so soothing to the soul that I always get a great night's sleep. Thanks again and I look forward to your next post. Hugs, David
Missed this last week so today I get two videos. What a joyful way to start my Sunday. This setting is absolutely gorgeous. Might be the prettiest site you have found so far. I do love thunderstorms but my sweet dog fears them, so it undoes my joy. As always, thanks for your videos. So beautifully filmed.
Catherine, first thank you for visiting our beautiful state. We are also 75 years young? The places you take us, the beauty, the wildlife and the adventure makes us young again. You are very special to your viewers and for us olders, you show us places we have never seen or physically be able to go. We the young oldsters thank you with all our hearts. God's Blessings to you.
Suggestion my friend, buy a 12volt high pressure water sprayer with a 100 foot hose. That way you can set the sprayer hose in the creek or river bed, and then it will use that water to spray clean your camper trailer. Hope you like.
2 things, Catherine. We absolutely look forward to our morning coffee the night before…especially the luxury of coffee when camping. AND…your videos are so full of beauty and peace! Thank you❤
I can only echo what Jeff Coler said, as my wife and I enjoy Sunday breakfast with your video. Although, we would love for you to expand your video's to 30 minutes, they are that good!!!
So, in my trailer oven I keep a 10 inch pizza stone, when you bake cookies or biscuits it helps distribute heat throughout the oven and somewhat keeps them from burning on the bottom before the top is done. The other thing is I put it on top the burners on low and it nicely toasts muffins, bagels or tortillas. I have even used it to heat my trailer when my house heater wasn't working.
I really enjoy your videos. You have a calming voice that goes perfectly with your video composition. And, I really like being in the forest during the rain and thunder. Happy trails 👏🏻
In a word, coffee is "AMAZING" in many ways.!!! I think the world would quit running without coffee.!!! Now that I'm a little older, I like waking up & warming up, slowly with my favorite coffee.!!! You are amazing too Cat.!!! Great Video.!! Thanks for sharing.!!
Always watching your videos on my big screen TV. The most beautiful spots to camp and the most beautiful videos on TH-cam. Thanks again and safe travels.
What a beautiful location! I love, LOVE thunderstorms. When I was stationed in Hawaii, there weren't many thunderstorms at all. Guys who were from areas of the country where they regularly occur missed those storms. Guys from areas where they seldom occurred could not understand why we missed those storms.
You found the best place in Idaho to camp, Cat. As a resident for the last 45 years I've watched the Stanley Basin fill up with visitors year after year. You found the best time to visit too. You may be a little disappointed if you come back in summer. lol. Safe travels & God Bless.
Love All the places you go they are amazing and beautiful love watching where you go next thank you for the great videos you show my husband and I are big fans of your channel. Thanks again
Cat, Another great video in yet another stunning location. To answer your T-Storm Q. Yes love them and to be back packing in the winter here in CO and hear the snow hitting your tent is another magical sound.
I just love your little trailer! My husband got me one just like it! We have great taste! I love your videos. You go to all those beautiful places. I only dream about! Thanks for sharing your travels!
Beautiful as usual Rembrandt! Thank you, my problem watching your channel is I forget to drink my morning coffee, and it gets cold!! Ur stuff is always excellent, thank you.
I really look forward to your videos each week. You have such a sweet and lovely spirit. Such beauty in our America, thanks for taking us along. May God bless you and keep you safe always.
Catherine, thank you so much for what you are doing. I'm a 75 year old vet with ptsd and your calming nature is so pure and so helpful when I'm struggling with anxiety attacks. I can't thank you enough. Also you're such a natural beauty, it's a breath of fresh air. You remind me of Heather Locklear in her prime. If only I was 40 years younger. Lol
Thank you Catherine for your beautiful videos of your amazing country,if I was 20 years younger I’ed be hopping the first plane to America, hiring a travel trailer & going exploring. Take care Elaine from Brisbane Australia.
My old stomping grounds, the Yankee Fork country of the Salmon River. Many happy times there, exploring with a friend or with my kids, or even alone. Sunbeam, where I used to fish, Custer, Bonanza, and the Custer Motorway - all fond memories from times likely before took your first steps. The old Empire Saloon has had a serious facelift since those days, from the looks of things. I really need to get back up there. Thanks for reminding me of bygone days. Cheers.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE a good thunderstorm! This might sound hokey, but I think I really feel the energy and electricity of the storm. I struggle with depression, and I feel my mood improve a lot during a thunderstorm.
Thunderstorem produce huge amts of negative ions, which are stimulating and calming and release dopamine. Read more on net. Oh, salso waterfalls and seashore!
@@jimsteigerwalt2625 Cool. I already knew about negative ions around moving bodies of water. Did not know that about thunderstorms. Really makes me long for a good storm! Unfortunately where I live on the west coast of British Columbia we don't get a lot of thunderstorms.
Catherine love you and your videos when I need to go to sleep at night I turn your video back on even though I watched it and I listened to the background it's so soothing to my heart wish I was with you you're a strong woman can't understand why you're so alone at these beautiful places to be at you need someone to share your adventures with Life's too short
Exquisite. Gorgeous scenery. I always look forward to a new Cat Gregory vid. Your choice of music is also mood-enhancing. Looking fwd to your continued travels.👍🏼
Catherine, please allow me to share something with you. Back in the 90s, my wife and I discovered Redfish lake and Stanley, and we went back 2 straight years. Its still my favorite spot in all of the western US. A few years later, we adopted a little boy who was born in Boise Idaho. We live in New Jersey. My son's name is Evan Stanley, and he is now 23 years old. Thats how much we fell in love with Stanley Idaho!
Yes I do enjoy thunder storms. We actually had a large one last night here in central NC. But I slept through the rain. I was surprised there was about 1 in plus in the gauge this morning. I hope you’ll look into fly fishing if you haven’t already. You stay at so many beautiful streams . Fresh trout is yummy with a salad. On a sad note please think about the families in Ky who have lost family and community members in flooding. Most of these folks live in poverty. It’s a very heartbreaking situation.
Funny, I do the same thing with looking forward the night before to my tea with milk in the morning...In fact, sitting by a gurgling stream seems like the perfect place for that too.
OMGosh Cat., every night when my husband and I crawl into bed, one us says, "I love our bed," then the other says, "I can't wait for coffee," so no it's not strange. By the way, you have the most beautiful livingrooms on the planet. You take your outdoor living space to a whole other level. We live in Phoenix, AZ. just blocks from South Mountain. The monsoon season is a much needed reprieve of thunder, lightening, rain, wind and dust storms. Without these storms, Phoenix would be an awful place to live June through August. We get giddy everytime we get a storm.
We don't know if you will see this or not. My wife and I were very excited to see that you came up to the Yankee Fork. We actually volunteer on the Gold Dredge. My wife's grandfather actually worked on the Dredge when it was in operation. If you ever get back up to the Yankee Fork, please stop by the Dredge and say hello. My wife and I have been backpacking and hiking in the area for many years and could point you in many directions for adventures.
Got to be careful these days camping near any rivers or streams with the way everything has been flooded. I always try to plan my travel to go wherever it's raining, love the rain. Sometimes, I'll just go out in my driveway and sit in the trailer when it rains!
Loved this video. It was relaxing and enjoyable. It's the next best thing to being there. I do love to hear the rain on the roof of the camper. It is soooooooooo relaxing. Thanks for sharing your adventures, I really enjoy watching.
Sawtooth are one of my wife’s and my favorite places! I’ve hiked all over that range. Now that we’re older we have a trailer and soon to be on the road full time! Sawtooth will definitely be on our list! Thanks for your great videos!😃
Wish I could really follow you on your journey, you find such wonderful places, I mean right behind you in my rig, but I'm 78 and selling my RV, THANK,YOU, THANK YOU
I love a good thunderstorm! Once again, a spectacular video, such a beautiful campsite. I live near the ocean but my heart belongs in the mountains of the west. Thank you for the glimpses of paradise.
Catherine, years ago after I retired, I began looking at travel trailers. I fell in love with the Springdale 1750 because of that big window. I ended up buying a little Luna Rover but everytime I saw the Springdale I loved that window. Well, I am 73 years old and going to sell my home this spring and do what your doing. I started crying when you were by the creek in Idaho, don't know why it just touched me so. I joined a Springdale group on Facebook and a person on the group sent me to your videos. I am so glad he did. I was asking folks if they like their Springdale and he said to watch your videos. Thank you so much. Hope you still like your 1750 because I think I am finally going to buy it. I subscribed so keep me in tune with the life I will be leading.
Catherine I am 75 years old and I would have loved to do what your doing even for a short time. To me you are so courageous. To be a young woman out by yourself and can face the wild like like you do is just so awesome to me. Please be safe. God Bless you and keep you.

I love a stormy day. I come alive just like the plants do when it rains. And I wilt in the brutality hot sunshine. 😊🌱

I love it at my house after good rain to listen to the creek (that runs through my property ) roaring. Makes it quick and easy to go to sleep.

Oh the sound of water flowing in the gold laden river all you need is a gold pan.
I bet the air is fresh up there in the rockies mountains, the thunderstorms make for the most relaxing camping experience.
Looking forward to coffee…not strange at all! Morning coffee and evening sunsets are my favorite parts of travel 🥰
I do love a good thunderstorm. The air smells so fresh afterwards.

Glad it’s not just me! I have experienced the Phoenix monsoons. They are awesome!
I Like this video, your skills at showing the beauty of your travels has greatly improved, thank you for sharing all your travels
Thank you Larry!
Sawtooth are one of my wife’s and my favorite places! I’ve hiked all over that range. Now that we’re older we have a trailer and soon to be on the road full time! Sawtooth will definitely be on our list! Thanks for your great videos!😃
Catherine, If it's strange to be looking forward to the morning coffee the night before, then I'm strange too.
That sure is a nice river to fish and relax well by. Thanks you
Wish I could really follow you on your journey, you find such wonderful places, I mean right behind you in my rig, but I'm 78 and selling my RV, THANK,YOU, THANK YOU
I love a good thunderstorm! Once again, a spectacular video, such a beautiful campsite. I live near the ocean but my heart belongs in the mountains of the west. Thank you for the glimpses of paradise.
Girl in the woods has great vid on the back of the truck.
I always think of my coffee the night before. Your not weird. Lol
Another amazing campground. Thank you for the views. Take care and stay well.
