Even with my many years of grappling, I had a brain cramp during the whole video. Definitly will watch it over, but this meta grappling is like some advance university math class.
I guess I should have added some more information here. I go to that side simply because I should be working to that angle to finish the triangle. If I go the other way I’m working against the choke.
@@Michaelcurrierbjj thanks for the reply. That was my guess although sometimes when bailing on a triangle it's exactly because I couldn't get the angle.
Typically the stand up allows me to get to that angle. So I’m still actively attacking the triangle throughout the defense. But it’s definitely not impossible to attack K guard on the other leg.

I really dislike how I taught this class. Sorry for the confusion 🙏🏽
I tried the first entry during sparring today.
It worked very well thank you
Great to hear! I just finished a new seminar on this sequence last week and I think it’ll be a much easier lesson to follow.
Great stuff as usual Michael and GT staff thank you. 🙏
Thank you 🙏🏽

How he kept his hair so neat and tidy after so many inverts.

Do it like that!,
🙌🙌🙌
Why must you use the choking leg to go into k-guard? Why not the leg that's already in the armpit?
Because the opponent has a big chance to stop the swinging leg. Try it out at open mat
