He also gave us a whole mini concert afterwards singing rare b-sides from BTS. 2 1/2 hours for us with a special gift on his own birthday! I felt like it was me who had birthday and not him 😅

All Koreans turns a year older on January 1st (New Years) not their actual birthdays. So BTS current international ages are Jungkook 24, Jimin 25, V 25, RM 26 (soon 27), J-Hope 27, Suga 28, and Jin 28. But their Korean ages age Jungkook 25, V 27, Jimin 27, RM 28, J-Hope 28, Suga 29, and Jin 30.
In Denmark we always put the Danish flag out everywhere, however, I don't think anyone think of it as a nationalistic thing. To me, our flag (fun fact: which is actually the oldest national flag still being used) resembles celebration and birthdays - it's almost more a birthday flag than a national flag. At least most of the year. In my family we wake up the birthday person by singing happy birthday (we have 4 nationalities in my family, so we do the Danish, Swedish, English and Italian song). Most Danish people eat 'lagkage' which is a layer cake or kagemand/kagekone which is sweet white buns/pastry placed out like a person topped with candy and Danish flags (again, it's more like a celebration flag).
