Those look good, I like the colors! Today I built 6 compound arrows and 5 trad arrows with the same bitzenburger.. it works great for the AAA max hunters but the 5" AAE trad vanes are a pita to get the glue in the tiny groove and full length adhesion, kept wanting to pull away at the bottom....11 arrows took me all day!
Hey, us old guys like 40-50 lb bows, too! Pretty arrows and pretty bows, like my little league coach said when we got new uniforms, "may not be good, but we sure look good!! Good shootin to ya, have a Great Day!
I’ve been tuning this setup for a few years now. Vap elite 350 spine, aae max stealth, whit water wrap, halo nock stock 50 gr insert and rage hypodermics. The absolute best configuration I have found at 60 pounds. Always a pass through and they fly like freaking lazers
I'm running the halo nocks for the first time this season. I'm excited to see how they shoot! I've got t-rex arms with a 25" draw, pulling 58 lbs, so it's nice seeing arrow builds!
Thanks Kaitlyn, I've watched 2 of your arrow builds, I have a short draw 27" and usually shoot 52-60 lbs so I like a lighter arrow compared to some. I have the slowest sight tape my sight came with. I like to shoot lots of arrows practicing so I like lighter draw weight. Not many address those things, so thanks again. I do alot of salmon & steelhead fishin I like that color alot I believe it's called cerise. Cool wood fits the color....
I loved your video. Have a Bitzenberger to this day. Nothing like yhe feeling of building your own arrows and getting a buck with them. Did the the same for the little 6x6 bull elk I got in Colorado, years ago. Have fun tuning the broadheads, Kaitlyn!
The Vaps are a great arrow extremely durable. I missed a target at tac into a rock pile completely fine. And just my take if you're going to shoot an elk with that poundage, I would switch to a 3 blade broadhead for better penetration.
Good looking arrows Kaitlyn I built me some new cross bow bolts recently I'm going to try the Simmons land sharks this season 190 grn 1 1/2 cut the bitizienburger is a great jig I've had mine for years
Be patient deer season will be here really soon... LoL it's been a long waiting time this year and it always takes forever when you are thinking about it ... 😂
Lot's of girly colors on that gear 😉🏹 I shoot 55# but I'm getting older & have some wrist issues such as carpal tunnel. I don't build my own arrows but make sure they're right for my set up. Cheers.
At 16:13...She mentioned that Mathews bows make the arrows spin left....i was under the impression that the way the string was twisted is what determins the spin of the arrow when its launched from the bow, not the brand of the bow...am i wrong? I shoot a Mathews V3 and have a right spin when my arrow launches.
I had them changed last year. But even with my stock string, I had a right arrow twist. I had to figure the arrow twist out because when I ordered my iron will single bevel broadheads, they asked me which way my arrows rotated. I had no idea. That's the only reason I even paid attention to it. Maybe it was the shop who set up my bow originally?? Idk...lol. edit: I shoot right handed. If that makes any difference.
The steeper the blade angle on the broadhead it reduces the penetration depth. It's better to have a longer broadhead length with less of an angle with the same cutting diameter as Opposed to a short length broadhead with a steep cutting angle.
Check out the ranch fairy he uses single blade and got The hunting public into single blade. They went from forth to half way out on deer too going straight through most deer and elk.
Helical or offset allows the arrow to spin earlier and faster, which can have a positive effect on accuracy and arrow recovery (hits a leaf/branch) due to the increased spin to steer the arrow.
The way the bare shaft arrow spins when it leaves the string makes ZERO difference on how the arrow should be fletched. With left helical fletch it can actually unscrew your point from your arrow slightly in flight as well easily fixed with some wax on the threads. Tyler Terry at winterhawk outfitters has done extensive testing with others in the industry. He explains it really well and the way the arrow wants to naturally “leave the string” will not affect or overcome the helical of the fletchings. Take this for what it’s worth. It’s another myth of many in this industry unfortunately.
well if you ever stop hunting you can be a model maybe for hunting clothes cause you have to be the most pretty hunting lady in the game the arrows looked good to lol
Maybe one year she will hit a deer in the vitals and not have to track it for two days 🤣 I feel like I’ve watched her channel since she was just hunting public after class in college and every video she put out with her shooting a deer it was a piss poor shot . I guess it helps when you start dating a dude that’s apart of the actual archery community 🤣. Ride the wave young lady
@@KaitlynMausOutdoors far from perfect but you’d think with high dollar flag ship bows and being surrounded by some bad ass shooters that you’d make better shots ? I’ve been deer hunting for 16 years and I’ve only lost 3 deer out of the 20+ deer I’ve killed with a bow🤷♂️. I’d say stop worrying about all that high dollar gear and focus on making better shots …. We owe that to the animals we hunt that’s all .
@doitforfunoutdoors2997 I make perfect shots at targets. In fact I out shot levi morgan a few times at a TAC event, but to say that animals are the same as targets is so incorrect.
Everyone is a hero in their own backyard , don’t listen to the haters Kaitlyn probably just a bunch of incels that are jealous you kill bigger deer than them
@@YMS12121 it’s not hate when it’s true . I think it’s funny when people defend other people when folks are making valid points . Huntings not about looking pretty on camera …. If your intentions are to kill an animal your job is to make good shots is it not ? And I’m not worried about someone killing bigger bucks than me so nice try 🤣 if I had a prime lease in a state that also has prime public land and I could hunt for a living I’d probably have quite a few bigger bucks on the wall but I’ll settle with the 3 I have on there now from the past three years lol.

Building arrows looks a nice plus to the hobby, like a fisherman tying a fly. Looks fun, thanks for sharing!

Looked like a clean build to me. Keep up the good work!
This really makes me happy I have two EZ Fletch jigs. Can do an arrow every 1-2 minutes. Great video.
I love your vibe and your videos you are an inspiration to bringing more women to the to the outdoors just keep doing what you do and good hunting
Just getting into archery, so videos like this are fantastic! It gives me lots of details and things to research.

Great video Huntress….arrows looked awesome…can’t wait to see one flying at that animal in your sights…😊
Another great video 👍 i like that you aren't afraid to do your own thing keep them coming looking forward to the season
girl you know some stuff. totally impressed with your knowledge. really like your vids
I got them same wraps .I like them. I think you will too. Especially if your light up nocks die out.
Awesome video arrows look sharp
Yeah, I just put my Matthews lift on layaway and I was going to get the victory VAP arrows myself and try them out
I absolutely love halo lighted nocks

Nice looking arrows.
You and buffalo travesty should colab with the Bowmars, match made in heaven. TikTok bow hunting.
Great job young lady look great
A pair of safety glasses for the pretty eyes would be great when cutting arrows.... :) Nice to see you doing a lot of fancy stuff
Yea you're right. I was in a scramble trying to get everything together and totally forgot to grab my glasses
I'd rock em! ❤
With those colors, you should have chosen the Mamba Archery IMVUBU
Be patient deer season will be here really soon... LoL it's been a long waiting time this year and it always takes forever when you are thinking about it ... 😂
Wear some eye protection whenever you are cutting anything even if you think you may not need it.
Chris Bee is the luckiest man alive.
Chris is watching this shaking just wanting to take over so bad. He strikes me as a control freak just like me...

Monitor my friend 👍 from Indonesia, good job 💯👌
Just a FYI the AIRZR’s have a note in the packaging to NOT use a primer pen when using these vanes. Great build tho
Ha yea I guess it helps to read. I knew they didn't need it, I guess I was just trying to show the process for if you did
Check out the ranch fairy he uses single blade and got The hunting public into single blade. They went from forth to half way out on deer too going straight through most deer and elk.
You really think she’s going to? She already told us her set up
👍
6.5mm is a standard diameter arrow. 5mm is small diameter and 4mm is micro diameter. Just an FYI
Yea I meant for someone with my set up
will the left helical fletched arrows hit different than straight helical?
No, helical will just induce spin a bit faster then a straight. Very little difference. More of a shooter preference than anything.
Personal preference. But bows do launch the arrows with a spin so best is to fletch so the bow and the vanes spin the same way.
Helical or offset allows the arrow to spin earlier and faster, which can have a positive effect on accuracy and arrow recovery (hits a leaf/branch) due to the increased spin to steer the arrow.
Is that Chris Bees shop!?
Pretty sure they are a couple.
Yea that’s Chris Bee’s girlfriend
They have been together for a few years….👍
Oh damn, I had no idea lol. Been watching Chris for a while now
Yeah, they're together. Wonder if ahe was with hun when he shot that buffalo 38 times?

i have the same draw weight and draw length as you, do you think i could shoot a deadmeat at a whitetail?
You can, but a fixed blade will give lower poundage more penetration.
Standard on arrows is 6.5mm, not 5mm.
