✨if you like book content and want to see more from me, I've started a NEW channel and put all my book videos over there! here's a link if you're curious: www.youtube.com/@sophie_jo
I'm reading Iron Flame still on my Kindle. I am almost half way through. There are so many twists that I really didn't see coming. I love it! It's giving me five star vibes. I think Fourth Wing and Iron Flame will be two of my favorite books of 2024.
oh wow really! i'm making a video about fourth wing and iron flame actually i read them last year and loved both (although the first more than the second). :p
Such great video! And it was cool to hear about the books you've read. Honestly lack of communication is soooo typical! Which makes the drama so boring and obvious. I am hopeful to find books with better thought stories.
OKAY i absolutely loved the Ever King but let me tell you about the ever Queen in as spoil free a way as possible. it was SO SO cringy... Like I personally didn't find book 1 cringy, but book 2 was like a whole different author wrote it?? And maybe its because I spent so long thinking about what could possible happen in book 2 it just didn't live up to the hype... the thing that made you cringe in book 1 will make you want to walk off the plank (bad pun sorry) in book 2. it's like in book 1 the author felt she didn't convince us enough that they were in love and needed EVERYONE in the book to confirm to us, the reader, that yes they were actually in love. it literally took me 2 months to read book 2 because i just couldn't sit down and power through it.

Loved this Feb spread. I never read Shiver, but her Raven Boys series is one of my all time favourite, that I've re-read countless times.
ooh ive heard ab that series but haven't read it yettt
Loved your spread. So glad you're continuing to film your book journal!
thanks!!

loooove your page, how do you film your overhead videos please🤗🤗
ty! i have a tripod with a phone attachment that i just angle over my desk :).
I also love reading novels. If you need any suggestions then I have a few:
The Invisible Man - Sci-Fi
Robinson Crusoe - Adventure
ooh i have heard of the invisible man but haven’t read it
I forgot about Shiver! Wow nostalgic read for sure. Going to add that to my TBR.
😂 Laughing at the cringe romance scene.
have you read shiver before?
Yes I loved the Shiver series more than Twilight back in my adolescence days. Definitely going to reread it now!

oof that’s really unfortunate. i hate when authors can’t be succinct about stuff like that. glad i stopped at book one 😭😭
