My most hurtful floppings from China:
1. Cheng Fei 2008 VT and FX EF gold loosing combo;
2. Yao Jinnan 2011 BB AA, without the fall would be the 1st Chinese world AA champion of history;
3. Fan Yilin Tokyo 2020 UB EF, working hard to qualify as specialist by Cups to fall in the dismount and loose a medal.

What is the point of their coaches standing in as spotters? They don’t even try to catch the gymnast when they fall. They just stand there and watch it happen.

because if the gymnast is falling safely, there is no need for the coach to intervene
