- The best thing about walking around in the village with your children is discovering a lot of new things with them. Like when we found Bitter Kola on the ground.
Ezenwa always takes the time to teach them, opening the fruit with all his patience and letting us try it.
Even if we didn’t all enjoy the taste, it was a hands-on lesson in Igbo culture. Bitter Kola, or Aki Inu as it is called in Ala Igbo, is known for its medicinal benefits, including boosting the immune system, aiding digestion, and reducing inflammation.
Definitely an import lesson for the kids.

After tasting it, Nyereugo did not only get away from there, he took the stroller with him. 😂😂😂😂😂😂.....
