I like that you showed a way to still use the holo powder without gel polish. I'm allergic to gel polish and can't even use a gel top coat over regular polish.

Love the one with the holo ombre tip! I'm doing mine very similar to that design tomorrow, but with a baby pink base color instead of the nude and with gel instead of regular polish. I've done them that way before and it was my favorite mani I'd ever done!

Love these designs! Question though, what top coat would you recommend using to smooth out glitter polish? I've tried OPI's, essie's Gel Contour(?) And Revlon's Diamond strength, but the glitter always ends up textured (which I really don't like)
If you sponge on the glitter, it causes the glitter in the polish to lay more flat, rather than sticking up in random angles. Also, bc the glitter is flat, it allows the light to hit the smooth surface of the glitter better and makes it sparkle better. Once you apply a thick top coat, it should feel much smoother.
