- Hello guys;
This project is a rotary module for engraving parts with cylindrical surface in laser engravers. You can make this module at home by following the instructions in the video.
STL Files : www.thingivers...
Materials
3 GT2 pulleys (hole size Ø5) : alishort.com/a...
1 GT2 without teeth pulley (hole size Ø5) : alishort.com/j...
4 number 625 bearings : alishort.com/e...
2 pcs Ø5x250 mm shaft : alishort.com/k...
2 pieces 20x20x210 mm sigma profile : alishort.com/8...
1 stepper motor : alishort.com/2...
Some GT2 belts : alishort.com/e...
This rotary module was designed by myself in computer environment.
The design consists of a stepper motor and two shafts rotating with a belt and pulley system.
Silicone hoses on the shafts ensure that the rotating part does not slip. If you have a 3d printer, you can make this design at home.
When you make this module, you need to remove the Y-axis stepper motor cable of your laser engraver and connect it to the module.

This lecture is very well sir
This tutorial is very nice sir
Looks good. In my case I don't think it is possible as my laser Jinsuko rotary is proprietary as it ties into the control board via a USB C connector and requires special firmware.
Muito bom ! Vou tentar fazer !!!
How long did the super glue hold? Unless I am looking at this video wrong but at about 1:32 that looks like a drill bit, not a tap. Am I looking at it wrong?
There is a piece that joins the two parts, so super glue works. The belt is not too tight. By the way, what you see is not a drill bit. That's a metric 6 tap.
That is a spiral M6 tap.
Nice but I can not find any 20x20x210 mm sigma profile please help me
I used cut profiles, but if you do not have this possibility, you can also use a 200 mm long profile. Only the size will be slightly shorter.
good job
