Before hating this game, think about it how much creativity was put in. Kevin Spacey as a main villain? Just let that sink in. The whole idea and the vibe of advanced warfare is such a unique thing that no CoD has ever created. You can hate the multiplayer but dont hate the game
I loved it since the start. You have to appreciate the effort into creating something new regardless what someone says. It’s like a group of people silencing you for being different. That’s what people did to sledgehammer. They unfortunately got handled including ww2. IMO the best spinoff and arcadey cod of the franchise.

Edit: stop assuming i havent grown up on black ops and mw too. I was 7 and the time and couldnt understand the story. So i was attracted to aw with all the tech things. (But yes Black ops and mw have great stories im not saying they're bad, also I play the cod4 campaign all the time)

Yes, Iron's is the villain of the story, but is he so far gone that the death of his only child means nothing to him?
Also if it didn't, wouldn't he at least try to pretend to care to keep his image up?
Plus, when he immediately brings the character into Atlas, the story is sort of admitting that his son's death isn't really that important or interesting to focus on.

Lots of people have nostalgia about old games , people always hate something new , its just human factor.
We can't adapt to something new because we have more memories about old
That why we always hate new games , but new era kids love it , they will have more memories about these games and less about old games
COD get most hate because it's really old game,normally games stay alive for 4 years , but COD stayed alive for too long.
And now we have 2 era gamers
After 10-20 years , people will remember these games as old and when new COD games will be released , people will say : "COD AW was better"
And then everything will repeat : Old gamers vs New gamers
...But old games (Cod 1-3 , MW etc.) will be forgotten , nobody will ever remember them

Salute to you sir, I mean, the first call of duty game I played was Call of Duty 2, I'd play it again if I could just like I still play CoD4, World at war and Black Ops if I still had the games :( but I'm a retro gamer and I still play games that were made in the mid-late 90's like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Unreal etc...

I bet most of the people who are complaining and disliking the video are just going to buy the game anyway and complain some more or they are Halo or BF fanboys. I mean sure GHOSTS was a horrible game and it shows you the Infinity Ward doesn't give a crap about a franchise they created anymore, but hopefully Sledgehammer and Treyarch will listen to the fans and revive the series.

Back when Cod games like these are just hated and then eventually became one of the most underrated cods ever. Man where's AW2 instead of Vanguard.....
The story and multi-player are 2 very different aspects of this game.
Most people prioritize the mult-player experience more than the campaign; at the time people didn't like loot boxes which gave people weapons -if they were lucky enough to get it- that have a tactical advantage (compared to today's loot boxes it should be all cosmetic)
The new exo system is debatable; people just didn't like people instantly jumping when they get shot since COD players were used to boots on the ground gameplay.

This game will always have a special place in my heart. The only CoD I ever level capped in the multiplayer. It was such a fresh feel playing this game, the pace was incredible and the game had some of the best maps in the whole franchise.

People don’t want to think, they want to be told what to think by men in offices. People don’t care about privacy because they believe that surveillance will keep them safe. People would rather give up their rights to defend themselves to governments that can’t even protect their own citizens. They put all their faith in bureaucrats who push narratives and constantly skirt the line of illegality all so we can be “safe.”
The greatest threat isn’t foreign invasion, it’s the weakness and inefficiency of world leaders when they attempt to micromanage the people.

Is it just me, or has next gen ruined gaming. Hear me out, would you rather laugh with your friends, or laugh by your self?
I miss the days when i played cod zombies with my friends, playing mike Myers, destroying christmas noobs and playing gta online. But since next gen has came out, its feels like we have split. I bought the ps4 thinking everyone would play it, but not everyone can afford it. When ever I'm online, no one is. Cod has gotten worse, and I'm still waiting for that multiplayer game to come out. Gaming doesn't feel the same for me anymore, my Ps4 just sits there now. :(
One of the best cod stories, to underrated, especially the mission degisn, QT events never been so cool, scripted, the car chase, the stealth breaching charges breach and clear and takedowns. The gadgets, awesome!

I remember this was universally praised, then it was universally hated...I honestly love this game for what it did, trying to renovate the multiplayer, and BO3 was a better version of it. By the time Infinite came out we had enough of future games, which is unfortunate cuz infinite wasn’t a bad Call of Duty by any means. This game gets a bad rap for introducing the exo movement which is understandable. But at the time we all were having fun with this game. Let’s all just take a moment and reflect on that.

6 years later and I’m still playing this game, campaign is amazing. Multiplayer is amazing, supply drops are free and worth earning, unlike BO3, IW, WW2 & BO4. You can EARN them, which is amazing. Zombies was different and enjoyable especially with a friend. No doubt a top 3 or 5 cod game.

Advanced Warfare 2: Kevin Spacey comes back to life. He regains Gideon and Mitchell's trust. Throughout the whole campaign he is using them to create a weapon so powerful, so illegal yet so impactful.
That weapon is a white van with candy so that Kevin can attract all the little kids.

The Campaign Was Litterly My Favourite Part
I actually liked this game. Not gonna lie.
I like that is has a double jump ability and the abilities within the double jump.
black ops 2 is better but the story is worse than aw so is the abilities.
bo2 had the best campaign, bo3 sucked though, it shouldnt be called bo3, they called it that because they wanted more money
Campaign was decent (mainly because of Kevin Spacey) but zombies and multiplayer weren't really something to be proud of.
IP Films same, SHG makes the best CoD games
bo2 was a less futuristic bo3 campaign, b02 was all just a flashback

Agreed... I loved BO2 for all the future tech that was in the game. This game is no different, other than the soldiers are actually PMCs
