The “Descendants 3: Mystery Trailer” has revealed some major secrets about the upcoming film. There is a big sleep spell that has been cast over the kingdom of Auradon, and no one seems to know who is responsible. There are at least four likely villains who are capable of committing such an evil act. We are going to explore each one of these villains and discuss their motives, powers, and relationships with Mal. We’ve got some interesting theories about the evil that is lurking over Auradon Prep.
In addition to the sleep spell, people are turning into stone all over the kingdom. We see Fairy Godmother turn to stone right before our eyes in the trailer. Then later, Mal looks devastated when she sees her friends as stone statues. So who is behind this? And who will save Auradon from all of these terrible spells? It’s clear that Mal will have to form an alliance with her former nemesis in order to save Auradon. The trailer says that “Spells are made to be broken.” Watch our video until the end to find out what exactly they mean by that vague but meaningful statement.

I don’t know if this means anything but I just realised something!
You know the start of D2, the whole of the song and then turning evil is all in Mals head. Just like in D3 trailer, the darkness was all in her head.
Also, you have to look into Medusa’s eyes to turn into stone but as you see The Fairy Godmother never looked into her eyes.
Dr Facilier (I cant spell), has a shadow that moves on its own and Celia (his daughter) might have that too! She may be the person who turns people to stone.
The scene where Fairy Godmother is running, I think she is running away!
When Umas necklace glows I think it relates to the Little Mermaid movie because when Ursula stops Ariels voice it was glowing. This may mean nothing but if it glows on Uma, she might be steeling something - just like Hades Ember! That might be why she looks so happy with her self in that image!!

Was Audrey ever good though? She seems fit to be a villain more than a princess because she always seemed evil to me. For example, when the Vk’s arrived at Auradon Prep, she was so mean to them, especially Mal. Even in Wicked World, she was spoiled, entitled, and she annoyed the VKs. 🤔

Theory: Audrey turned bad because she wants to be like mal and have her revenge on mal for stealing Ben off her and snatching away her popularity so she turns everyone that mal knows and loves into stone so mal would know how it feels to loose everything.

Audrey’s hair later looks like a toned down version of her hair before so I think that Hades could be defeating a spell that made Audrey able to touch Maleficent’s sceptre and basically become Mal.

It is because audrey's mum was already cursed so audrey can't get cursed.
Maybe Hades drained Mals power with the ember and put it in Audrey so she has Mals power so she won’t get affected by the scepter
When Audrey was holding the scepter she got cursed and that’s why she was sleeping in the bed
Her grandmother made a deal with hades to wake up Audrey and after that happened hades woke her up and carried her by Dr. Faciler where he turned Audrey evil

Hades has magic when he is clearly on the isle in his lair.
When he is playing guitar, his fingers have fire. Say what you want, but that's magic. Right after we see his hair do its trademark blue fire. You may think well that's just something hades does at first glance, but think about it. That cant happen naturally. That is magic.

In the previous Decendance movies, Mal's hair appears to be more Purple. But if you look at 9:04, You will see that he hair is more blue. Does this mean that Hade's is Mal's Father? What If Hades is drowning Mal's powers and replacing them with Evil powers so Hades and Mal will work together and Destroy Aurdon?

At 5:34 you can see the main VK 4 (Mal, Evie, Jay & Carlos) + Sea 3 (Uma, Harry & Gil) + most likely Ben all put their hands together. This is probably right before or after that fight with the armor guards where the 8 of them probably agree to let the past go & team up to save the day. If this really the final movie how are they not gonna bring Maleficent back???
